It's a beautiful morning, and the color of the leaves on the trees is starting to change color to a reddish-orange, meaning fall has come. From a nearby house, a girl was getting ready for her first day in the fall semester and her first day in a new high school too. Her name is Lea, Lea, and her family just moved into Metropolis City because of her dad's work, it's sad to leave her old friends behind but she knows that she'll find some new friends too. She grabs her bag, puts on her shoes, and says goodbye to her parents before riding her bicycle to go to school.
Lea could feel the wind blowing through her hair while her green emerald eyes shone with joy as she paddled her yellow bicycle to school. Lea likes to color yellow and white, it's because she thinks they're lovely and that the combination of those two colors is very cute, it also reminds her of an egg which is one of her favorite foods especially when it's mixed with salt and pepper. Lea's favorite season is fall because the temperature in that season is not hot but is also very cold, not to mention the beautiful trees and leaves that she'll get to see everywhere and the smell of fall is just so calming to her.
After a few minutes of paddling and everything, Lea finally arrived at her new school. She parked her bicycle and was ready to walk inside the school building when she entered, she was greeted by her cousin, Katty.
"Lea! Hi there, you're finally here!" Katty said happily as she hugged Lea. Katty is the same age as Lea and they're cousins, but Katty lives in Metropolis City and they can only meet on special family occasions. But since Lea had moved into Metropolis City, now they can meet every day at school.
Lea chuckles, she's also happy to meet Katty here.
"did you see Kyle? He's supposed to be here already" Lea then asks Katty after she lets go of Lea.
Kyle is Lea's little brother, he's 1 year younger and way more independent than her. Kyle will always come to school way earlier than Lea, he is sometimes even the one who makes breakfast for them when mom is busy. Even tho so, Kyle is never annoyed by her sister, to Kyle, Lea is like his idol and he'll do everything to be her favorite brother -- even tho he's the only son in the family.
"I don't know, I saw him a few minutes ago but looks like he's already busy with his new friends" Katty shrugs, Kyle is such an extrovert which is the opposite of Lea.
Lea sighed hearing Katty's answer but Lea didn't need to worry, because Kyle was not the type of person to cause any trouble. Katty offered to Lea to show her their class because Lea was in the same class as Katty, and Lea would love to spend some time with her cousin so she nodded and agreed with her.
While they're walking together, Katty suddenly stops, making Lea who's right behind Katty almost bump into her.
"Why did you stop?" Lea asked Katty, that's when she looked over Katty's shoulder and her eyes widened.
It's a girl, being bullied by a boy in the hallway, right in front of the locker. The girl's glasses are broken, there are some scratches on her face and her face looks messy, she's bleeding and her clothes are also dirty. The boy who bullied the girl looked at the girl with his cold blue eyes while holding his baseball bat like a villain, his white T-shirt had a little dot of blood on it, and looked like it didn't belong to him. The boy pushes the girl, making the girl hit the locker behind her, the girl slides down to the floor and sits there, trembling in fear.
"What? Are you scared now?" the boy said in a mocking tone that made the girl more scared.
Everyone passing by in the hallway stopped and just looked at him in terror, no one dared to help the girl because they were scared of the boy, not even the teachers. All they can do is just feel lucky that it's not them who are in that position.
"Who's that boy?" Lea whispered to Katty, she sounded surprised but there was a hint of anger in her voice too.
"That's Rexy" Katty answered with a whisper, "he's supposed to be in 12th grade right now but he failed the final exam, and his other scores are not helping so he needs to repeat 11th grade" Katty then added. Lea frowned, she didn't like seeing Rexy bullying a girl like that, and it looked like Katty knew what Lea's thinking.
"Lea, I know what you're thinking. Don't do it." Katty warned Lea, but Lea did not listen. Just right when Rexy is about to hit the girl with his bat again, Lea immediately stands between them and Rexy away from the girl, almost making Rexy lose his balance.
"stay away from her."
