Lea had started to forget about the incident with Rexy that morning, but when she saw Kyle hanging out with Rexy, she immediately remembered it. Why would Kyle want to hang out with someone like Rexy?! Rexy is a bully, and Lea had also warned Kyle about Rexy. Lea sighed harshly and tried to ignore them while she searched for somewhere to sit, and that's when Katty called her.
"Lea! Over here!!" Katty called her.
Lea walked over to Katty and realized another girl was sitting in front of Katty, the girl had brown curly medium hair and she wore a pair of round glasses and some baggy clothes. Now Lea starts to think that maybe it'll be better for her to just walk away, it's not that she thinks that the girl is weird, the problem is... Lea is mostly an introvert and she doesn't like meeting new people. But even tho her brain told her to just walk away instead, her legs had already delivered her to the empty seat beside Katty and the next thing she knew was that she was already sitting on the empty chair beside Katty. The girl in front of Katty smiled at Lea and Lea smiled back.
"Now Lea, meet Abby, she's my friend, and Abby, this is my cousin that I told you about, Lea." Katty introduced, Lea waved a little and Abby said.
"wait, you're Lea?! Sorry, I just like to make new friends! Aren't you the girl that fought with Rexy this morning?" Abby asked and Lea just laughed awkwardly.
"yup, that's me!" Lea said awkwardly but then calmed down and smiled, looks like Abby is a nice person.
"Katty told me you had a brother, where is he?" Abby asked.
"Oh, he's hanging out with his new friend Rexy" Lea answered as she rolled her eyes before taking a bite of her sandwich.
"What? Kyle is hanging out with Rexy? But Kyle is a good boy, why would he hang out with Rexy?" Katty asked.
"I don't know, I saw Kai also hanging out with him. Why would Kai hang out with Rexy?" Lea is a little confused, Rexy is a bully but he still has a few friends. Lea then took another bit of her sandwich.
"If it's Kai, that's a normal sight to see," Abby said, which made Lea more confused. "Kai and Rexy have been best friends since they were in junior high school" Abby adds.
"How'd you know?" Katty asked.
"they are junior high school here, and I've been here since junior high school so I know their whole history," Abby said proudly as she ate her salad, "Rexy is not supposed to be a bully, but he got bullied in junior high school and his only friend is Kai who I think is the only only one that can keep him under control" Abby shrugs and finished her salad, Lea had finished her sandwich and was now drinking her orange juice as she listens to Abby's explanation.
"So he's a bully victim? Why doesn't he report it to his parents?" Lea asked.
"I don't know" Abby answered.
"Oh, I did hear there's a rumor that Rexy had no family or something," Katty said as she opened her lollipop wrap before eating the lollipop.
"Those rumors are old, and none of them are facts. Rexy had been a mystery since junior high school," Abby said as she fixed her glasses.
The girls then continue to gossip and talk about Rexy, and go deep into some girl's talk.
Meanwhile, Rexy on the other side was unconsciously staring at Lea while eating his lunch and listening to his friends chatting nonstop. Well, at least until Kai realizes that Rexy is being weird.
"hey bro, you're good?" Kai asked as he raised an eyebrow which made Rexy snap back to reality and answer:
"yeah?" Rexy is a little confused about why would Kai ask him that. Rexy is always fine.
"Why are you staring at Lea?" Inx asked.
"wait- you're staring at my sister?!" Kyle immediately switches into protective brother mode.
"I am?" Rexy asked but then went silent. This is not like him, what is happening to him? Is he alright? Those are questions that are going on in his mind at the moment.
"Rexy, do you have a crush on Lea?" Inx asked, being straight to the point which made Kyle flabbergasted but at least Kyle managed to grip Kyle's wrist before he could attack Rexy.
Rexy said nothing, but then he said:
"What?! Why? She's my enemy now after the incident this morning!" Rexy said, "I mean, I did agree that she's gorgeous and beautiful, and caring, and strong, brave, smart and..." he paused when his friends were staring at him which made Rexy blush a little before he continued, "but I don't have a crush on her!"
"Oh really? Then you'll be fine with it when a boy is heading right towards her at the moment" Kai said before pointing to the boy who was walking towards Lea's table at the moment.
Rexy immediately turned around to see the boy and Rexy knew well that person, the worst person in school according to Rexy's opinion -- even tho everyone knew Rexy was the worst person in school. One thing that Rexy knows is right, is that that boy doesn't deserve Lea and if Rexy knew that person well enough he's positive that this person was going to flirt with Lea.
