Walking down the streets, Elva was still curious on to how Luke was going to be helping that man when she noticed that they were approaching the castle of the city. "What are you planning on doing, Luke?" "Patience is the key to success Elva, just wait and watch"
The castle was quite a large one with 3 pointed cones on top of 3 towers. The center one had a large window that added to the shine of the marbles while the whole castle was surrounded by a large wall only having one entrance which both Luke and Elva were approaching.
Standing there were 2 guards looking towards both the adventures with a glare when Luke asked "Hey there, we would like to meet with a man named Drake" "Why?" asks one of the guards as Luke shows them the poster of the monster on the loose and asks "I heard he knows quite a lot about the city." "Drake is not available at this moment, come back at a later time" "But, we can't take much time, who knows maybe the monsters will turn up again and harm more humans, we can't let that be happening now can we?"
"We can assure you nothing of that sorts will happen, we are on duty" "How can you be so sure that you can handle this monster, as if you already know how it looks like" The guard hesitate but quickly responds "It's quite easy from the poster that it is not much of a threat, why persist?" "Oh I have yet to persist, for now I just want to meet Drake and ask some questions from him about this monster" "And I have already told you, Drake is too busy to do so" hearing this Luke sighs and replies "Fine, when will he be available, could you at least tell me that?"
The guards look at each other and tell Luke to come back in the evening, hearing which Luke agrees and leaves their sight with Elva "And here I thought you would be barging in" "Sorry to disappoint you Elva, but that would turn us into criminals and I am not in favor of that" "So, what will be our next step then?" "For now, the only option I see is to wait it out and keep an eye on Rugo, seeing how he was at the guild…I am worried about his next step"
Meanwhile, at an old house laid Rugo with darkness surrounding him and the only light source being the one coming from the windows from the side of his bed. The man could do nothing but remember the times he had enjoyed with his wife as he bit his lips thinking of all the people he trusted now refusing to help him. "Why… why do you keep hiding her from me…what did I do to deserve all this, I always helped you when you needed me and this is how you all pay me back…you traitors…" The man was angry as he slammed his fist on the bed with tears coming out his eyes when he hears a voice
"If you had the power, would you kill them?" surprised Rugo quickly gets up and finds a man up close to his face looking straight into his eyes. He had a wide smile on his face with his eyes red looking straight into Rugo's and his arm touching his shoulder "Calm down, I am not here to hurt you" He wore a tight suit of red and brown with a robe hanging down his shoulders of the same colors front and back.
"Who are you?" asks Rugo to which he replies "Just a man who wants to help you by giving you the power that you need, but tell me are you even ready to kill them?" Rugo was scared to think of that idea, he did hated them all but for him to kill them…have their blood on his hands when the man continues "What happened, I thought you hated them…they betrayed you, you know…who knows why would they have captured your wife, maybe they wanted to…" he had an evil smirk on his face as Rugo suddenly had the idea of what he was thinking.
"NO, I won't believe Drake would fall to that level" shouted Rugo as he stood up from his place pushing the man back as he with a smile begins walking towards the door of the room "Do you truly think that, I mean, why else would they have had captured her…think about it, did you never had the feeling that that would be the case, don't you think everything would make sense if you thought of it that way?" Looking back, he once again looks straight into Rugo's eyes as he remembers the guilty look on Drake's face when he asked about his wife. It did make sense…for Rugo everything had begun to fall in place as anger suddenly started fueling him. Covering his face, he says "No…N-no Lilia…my…m-my sweet Lilia" remembering her face filled with happened, he couldn't bare that thought as a dark aura begins covering his body while the man just smiled and says "Perfect"
After a while, when Luke and Elva arrived at Rugo's house, they found the whole place in shambles with the bed and table broken into two pieces and the window shattered with the pieces of the glasses fallen to the outside on the ground in an alleyway as Elva asks "What must have happened here?" while Luke looks at this with a face confused and replies "No idea, but let's split up…we gotta find this man quick" Elva agrees and they both run out the house going separate ways
While at the castle, in his room Drake sat on his table reading a book on something biting his nails tensed as he thought "Just what must have happened to her?" when someone comes running towards his room and bursts the door open "Drake, Rugo has attacked the castle guards!" hearing which, he stood up and was shocked "Why…!" "It seems he has also caught that dark aura" replies the guard hearing which the only reply that Drake could give was "Shit"
And the adventure continues….
