Chapter 12 - Inventory Bag

The whispers and disapproval continued around me:

"Did he seriously pick that?"

"Is he crazy?"

"Do you think he'll survive practical training with that?"

"He should have gone for a gun, anything would be better!"

Their words stung, and I could see the reactions from the main characters: Steve was in awe. Elina, who looked at me like it was not her problem; it hurt me a little, and Sonia was visibly unhappy, openly calling me an idiot.

Everything in this story has its own myth and legend. There are worldly events and national events. If the story were more known to the people, it would be more valuable. That's why almost every student chooses the old over the new, not the unorthodox weapon. The more it was known to the world, the more it was classified as higher!

"That's what other believe but I don't" I said to Milo and Shakiro, that's better to think out of the box.

Well, it's not my fault if the story goes wrong; I just want to see the ending!

I'm not the protagonist here, so how the story unfolds isn't entirely on me, right? I'm leaning towards a future as more of an adventurer, like a player in games. But wait, aren't they just freelancers, job-hoppers? Is that really a successful path? Am I destined to be a job hopper?

Snap back to reality. Instructor Kim announces our next meeting for weapon trials, implying that changing my choice now would be the only option.

I felt uncomfortable under his gaze as he spoke, but he relented, suggesting we also utilize the indoor training facility and practice. The session ended, students filed out, and Instructor Kim ensured everyone adhered to carrying just one weapon.

I sneakily drop guns, swords, anything that I can insert in the magic space bag while we are lining up to go out. I was the last person on the line, so I don't really make contact with other students with high egos. Many students are very happy with their weapons.

Internally, I was screaming, but I managed to acquire additional weapons successfully.

Deciding to head back to the dorms, I checked my loot: a two-piston gun, three swords, six wands, one staff, and seven arrows.

"How do I even use these arrows without a bow?" I felt foolish but strangely satisfied with my haul.

"Also, where are the three pistols? Right... and four swords, two staffs, but where are they?" I was really pondering the whereabouts of the other weapons, but I couldn't find them in the space bag.

Looking at these arrows, "Can these weapons be better than a gun? "

I think it was impossible, but if the person is in ranger class, they can kill and crush the gun user with skill.

Curiosity led me to examine the sharp end of one arrow.

"Ouch!" I accidentally sliced my left index finger. Instinctively, I tried to stop the bleeding with my right hand, but as the blood dripped into the space bag, it began to vibrate.

A bomb!

"Is this going to explode?"

Jumping back and distancing myself, I was terrified. The bag seemed to be moving uncontrollably. Suddenly, it emitted an intense, blinding light.

"Ah! My eyes!" The pain was terrible. Even when I closed my eyes, I could still see the blinding light. It was as if Murphy's Law was in full effect—first a cut, now blindness! Eventually, my vision returned, but something peculiar caught my eye.

"I see three guns, but... am I seeing correctly?" I blinked repeatedly, but the three guns persisted. It was baffling, and, "Where is my bag?"

"Wait, what?" After several more blinks, one of the guns transformed into the bag.

"What in the world!" It was a magic space bag, but how could it turn into a gun?

"Did it just change?" I felt like a monkey discovering something utterly unknown. I examined the bag with fascination, turning it over and over in my hands.

*Clap, clap, clap!* Suddenly, an old man appeared and applauded my discovery.

"Did you get it? Wow! Nice item you got there! "

Without warning, the magic space bag in my hand was thrown into the old man's head.

No bagy, he is a god!

"Sidapa! Can you knock before entering?" I insisted on my privacy.

"I'm not interested in your little junior; I am a god, and I can make it bigger!" He pointed at my half of my life.

"I don't need to! It's big enough!" The old man clearly didn't understand the passion of natural cultivation; I don't need surgery or magic.

"Okay, okay! Well, surviving that arc story was something; you've got a knack for escaping safely. Trading your underwear for life is quite a bargain." He pondered while stroking his beard.

"Grrrr! Can this old man go away?"

"Why so impulsive today? I'm here to reward your hard work! Hehehe, you escaped death, what do you say?"

"What reward is that?" I aimed to brush past and get straight to the reward.

"Oh, and I forgot to mention, the magic space bag wasn't actually a bag but a Quantum Replica." As the weapon name hit my ears, disbelief washed over me. A joke item?

"What! How?" I was grasping the concept, but its origin puzzled me.

The item that will change the story was hidden in the secret area in the last wormhole.

"Are you the author? You forgot some details, or not, hahaha."

Quantum Replica: An item that can transform into a desired object after absorbing its essence. It can even replicate the holy sword, but only 70% of it. It activated by registering it with blood, it requires a tablespoon per hour—think of it like menstruation, a significant trade even for blood.

At first, I thought this item was a joke, but now, holding it in my hands, I couldn't believe it.

"I can't believe it!" I exclaimed in shock, clutching the bag, and Sidapa added to my shock.
