Ginger, holding her sword, was the first to arrive at the designated area.
I could see everyone gathering at a specific area for each group
The first to introduce herself was Mel Carmin.
"Hi, I'm in group four! My name is Mel Carmin," she said, her tiny figure holding a long bow. With sharp eyes, she looked at Ginger.
Ginger looked at Mel's weapon and smiled, responding to her as one might to a cute kid. "Okay! You're a ranger, I'm a swordsman. My name is Ginger." Patting Mel's head like a cat.
I could feel Ginger's power of the motherly instinct here.
Suddenly, someone interjected between Ginger and Mel. "Ahmmm…! I-I'm in group four too!"
This girl seemed unfamiliar, someone I hadn't seen in any academic classes before. Her eyes darted around oddly.
Ginger and Mel tilted their heads, exchanging confused glances. "?" they seemed to say, unsure if the girl was shy or just acting strangely.
"M-m-my name is Alisha!" she introduced herself, the same height as Mel.
Ginger hugged her, rubbing her face against Alisha's. "Alright, little girl! So, what's your class?" Ginger asked, smiling and patting her head.
"I'm a support!" Alisha replied, clearly notable as one from the staff she was holding.
As they interacted, Elina made her entrance. "Hello, everyone, I'm Elina," she said.
Everyone seemed satisfied with Elina's introduction. Her academic prowess had made her popular, earning a spot in the top three of the class without even needing to walk around.
"So, is everyone here? Is there a fifth member?" Ginger asked.
I can see Ginger was wondering if the fifth member was absent. So, I walked up and positioned myself behind Mel Carmin and Elina.
"Hello, I'm Felix, a craftsman!" I introduced myself confidently, like a man while emphasizing my bag at my back.
Mel Carmin looked at me, she didn't seem satisfied with a craftsman in our group. I see maybe she hated this class too.
"Alright, everyone's here. Let's go! The objective is to gather as many points as possible by defeating monsters. Your bracelet will register and track your progress," Ginger explained enthusiastically.
The bracelet looked somewhat like a smartphone, with just two buttons on the home interface—'Score' and 'Escape'. I wanted to buy a smartphone, but it was too expensive, more than five times what it cost in my previous life.
"Hey, you lot!" the instructor called out angrily. "Did you think this was just a meet-and-greet? Get moving! Go, go!"
The instructor's shouts were so loud that I could see droplets of saliva flying with each word. As he walked toward us, we were scared his drool might land on us.
"Ginger called for you, Alisha! Let's go!" I urged Alisha to move, worried she might get showered by the instructor's spittle if she stayed there frozen in fear.
"I-I-I'm…" Alisha stammered, trembling and unable to move. She seemed like she might collapse any second.
I gently grabbed her wrist, trying not to be too forceful, but I knew I had to act.
"Good job, Felix, boy!" Ginger praised, giving me a thumbs up.
After I pulled Alisha along, everyone entered the blue wormhole. Blue was the second easiest color, and the color of the wormhole signified the level of difficulty. In a blue wormhole, encounters with monsters were frequent but manageable. Purple wormholes, however, were different—monsters appeared directly, almost like a monster house.
The blue wormhole has the same amount of monsters as the purple but the monster would attack the people directly like the purple wormhole. That's why blue wormhole is good to harvest monsters.
We start our journey to the physical training, I am with the same of the legendary two hero allies in the future.
I hope this goes well.
Or so I thought.
"Eeiyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
I found myself running away from a group of green monsters, accidentally stumbling into a group of Kappa.
Kappa, creatures from Japanese mythology, reside in water and have green skin.
Right now, I was really, really scared!
"Get the boy! Follow the queen's orders!"
"Boy! I'll be the mother of your children! Let's elope!"
"Boy, don't run! I will make your life better! After the queen uses you I'll next!"
"Boy! Boy! Boy!"
I can hear the Kappa saying something so ominous like I was only the man in this whole world. If they were a human, I would embrace them well and even. I will be the one who invites them but those monsters are not to be considered to be bed partners.
Thud! Thud! More than four green figures were chasing me, and the unbelievable part was—they could talk like humans.
I could see the girls ahead as I ran. If I could just reach them, I'd be safe!
But then, a Kappa jumped on my back, causing us to tumble together, and soon, they caught me. Three other Kappa began stripping off my clothes, starting with my combat gear, then my shirt, followed by my combat pants.
And my little junior was visibly dangling around, laughing at me as the monster danced together. Two goblins held my hands and feet while the others danced around me like some twisted cult. It was an incredibly shocking experience!
"Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!" I could only scream.
Then, Mel! I could see Mel! Help me!
She walked toward me, observing me.
Why was it only me? Ignoring the girls in my party, the Kappa were fixated on attacking me.
"So, you have a fetish, huh?" she remarked, finding me but showing repulsion by turning away.
"Mel! Help!" I cried out desperately.
Alisha, Elina, Mel and Ginger were watching—it was a perilous situation. The girls saw what was happening but remained passive.
"Help me!" I pleaded with my ability, almost on par with the goblins. It was a stalemate.
Elina, help! Your future husband is going to be a Kappa stud
The goblins continued their dance while the girls watched.
The four girls in my party stared at me as if I were trash. When I finally found the...
It all began a few moments ago. We spawned in an open area, but there were no monsters to kill.
"Let's head to the forest!" the girls decided.
As a man, what should I do?
"Yes," I could only agree. Being a craftsman, people viewed me as lower class.
As we approached the forest's entrance, we crossed the border between the open field and the forest itself.
My party tended to their needs, mostly of a feminine nature. Hence, I waited for them. Since I was the only one carrying everything—extra weapons, potions, clothing, food, and more—they had no items to carry themselves.
"A river?" My curiosity piqued, and I ventured to see what the rivers looked like in this world.
As a modern human going to school and going home are my only daily life, with simple part-time work that's all the are I've been doing in my previous life.
Now, if given the chance to travel the world, I supposed I'd take it.
I heard water splashing and saw a green figure, roughly the height of Mel and Alisha, resembling a human teenager.
"Kappa?" I uttered, but the figure, with black teeth and cloudy eyes, stared back.
It was unsettling, especially when she clutched her chest as if assuming I had an interest in a green-skinned monster.
Then she screamed, "A MAN! Get the man for me!"
"Why do I get into trouble when I'm just taking a little walk?" I mumbled to myself.
*Rustling sounds*
I heard the branches of the forest shaking, and I became alert to my surroundings. Another green being appeared. They were the same height as the one by the river, but unlike the previous creature, these ones didn't have metal headbands. Four Kappa jumped from the high branches and encircled me.
"Kekekeke!" x4
They were creating a weird laugh.
