"Are you okay?" Cynthia asked her sounding concerned.
"I am fine. I was out late. I might have caught a cold." Venessa replied rubbing her nose. Her hair was still wet, she better dry it before she caught a cold.
"So much for never catching a cold in your life before." Cynthia sneered, remembering how Venessa loved bragging about that.
"Cynthia goodnight it is getting late." Venessa deadpanned, even Jayden had mocked her because of her words.
"Alright later then. Bye, Venus." Cynthia chimed cutting the call. Venessa dropped her phone and attempted to use her blow dryer again.
She attempted to plug the hair dryer but quickly withdrew her hand because she almost got electrocuted.
"Ouch." Venessa flinched because of the charge. "Guess I have to ask Jayden." Aside from her, Jayden was the only resident here. The housekeeper normally leaves after cleaning up at night.
