Brandy and her younger sister were in accord that they would only accept adoption if they could stay together. Despite the passage of years, no one was willing to take in both girls but their resolve to stay together remained firm.
As time went on, Brandy's stay at the orphanage was drawing to a close, she made a vow to her sister that she would find employment to support them both and return to take her sister with her once she left.
Soon after Brandy finished high school and turned 18, with no choice, she had to leave the orphanage. The orphanage supported her by getting her a job and a place to stay, so it wasn't difficult to cope.
Brandy regularly paid her sister visits every Sunday when she didn't have to work. They will spend the whole day together talking about their week. It was a regular schedule for her, and Brandy always looked forward to Sunday to visit her sister, it was the one day of the week she loved.
