"Dad." Tang Chen looked at his father with a hint of surprise in his eyes.
He recalled that his father had a meeting at the office and it was Uncle Yi Bo who was supposed to pick him up from kindergarten.
Tang Chen gathered his thoughts and finally recalled his father's question. "I'm fine."
Ye Heng gave his son a lookover. Seeing that there was no injury on his son's body, Ye Heng heaved a breath of relief. "Come on. Let's go to the car first."
The sun was too hot and there were too many people gathered in front of the building. It was better to talk to his son once they were alone in the car.
Ye Heng helped his son into the passenger's seat and turned to look at him.
"Chen Chen, do you know what happened?" Ye Heng asked. "When I arrived, I saw the police patrol car outside the gate. I was worried that something might happen."
Tang Chen pursed his lips as he tried to remember what happened.
