The father and son walked over to the stall at the side to buy some ice cream. As they were both nearing the stall, the father and son stopped on their track and glanced at the mother and daughter.
Seeing that they were both preoccupied with building the sand castle, Tang Chen turned to look at his father.
Their gazes met and the father and son exchanged a smile.
Ye Heng picked up his son to let him look at the menu. "Chen Chen, which one should we buy for Mommy and Xiao Xiao?"
The little boy stared at the menu with a serious look on his face. He did not think that there would be a lot of flavors at the stall.
"Xiao Xiao liked strawberries." Tang Chen pointed at the photo on the menu.
"Just like the candies that you often buy at the convenience store?"
Tang Chen nodded. He smiled brightly, seeing that his father would remember what he had told him at the convenience store.
