Once the news got televised, it gained more traction, even though the government wanted to keep it hidden. Everyone who owned a TV heard all about the mysterious portal. "Giant portals that take you somewhere else? No way that's true. Anyways, I have better plans. I'm going camping with my friends. Vulcan, and Logan should be arriving anytime soon."(Aindri) "Hey dude, I'm here. Is Logan there already?"(Text from Vulcan) "Nah he's not here yet. I called him a while ago and he said he was almost here."(Aindri) Vulcan responded with "Ight." and that's where the thread of texts ended. After several minutes of sitting in the car waiting for Logan's arrival, Aindri and Vulcan finally spot him walking towards them. "I think I'm a bit late but that shouldn't matter." (Logan) "Took you long enough."(Aindri) "I woke up late okay, my bad."(Logan) "Mmm maybe you shouldn't have gone to sleep in the first place."(Vulcan replies with a smirk) "Shut up, I needed my sleep, but anyway where are we going Aindri?" "It's called Mt.Tombstone and it's only 40 minutes away, so it shouldn't be that bad."(Aindri) "Alright just put it on the GPS and we'll go from there."(Vulcan) While Aindri is typing the address, the trio feels an unnatural wave of energy in the air that goes by as fast as it came. "Is it me or did it suddenly become chilly?"(Logan) Vulcan and Aindri agree. "Oh yeah by the way, I think Fodre is going to meet us there."(Aindri) "Ight."(Vulcan) "Okay."(Logan) "But yeah this just adds to my list of victims."(Aindri with an evil smirk) As the trio starts driving off to their destination, they play music while they make pointless chatter and talk about what they wanted to do. "Logan I swear you better have packed extra socks or something because you know how bad your feet stink."(Vulcan) "I know, I know. I did. Maybe."(Logan) "I swear if you're dumbass didn't pack extra socks, i'm going to leave you right here because that's going to put us through hell."(Vulcan) "Shut up Vulcan. Even if I didn't pack them, we can stop somewhere and buy me a pair."(Logan) "Oh boy."(Aindri)
While the trio continued to argue amongst each other, the Seer sensed a change in the air. "Hehe, finally, some people are coming towards me. Lets see who they are."(Seer) She hovers her hands above the oracle and it shows her three individuals. A medium -haired handsome boy, a white lonely boy, and an emo. "Well for my first guests, I guess they'll suffice, even though they could've been more heroic looking."(Seer) The oracle suddenly switches to another person. "Oh my, another one? This one looks stressed and uninteresting but I guess it will do~."(Seer) The Seer seems to not like the choice of fate. Not long after the trio had reached the start of the mountain trail, they saw signs welcoming them in. "Mt.Tombstone please watch your step and beware of bears ^_^" "Ok totally not a cliche."(Aindri) "There are bears here!!? I'm leaving." "Man shut up and just come."(Aindri to Vulcan) "I mean Aindri told me there were bears so I bought bear spray."(Logan) "He didn't tell me anything about bears!!"(Vulcan) "Well I knew you wouldn't come if I told you that, and Logan, isn't it supposed to be bear spray? Your can says pepper spray."(Aindri) Silence. "I honestly thought I brought bear spray!!"(Logan) "That's it. This is the end. My life will be over by being mauled by a bear."(Cried Vulcan) "We'll be fine don't worry, anyways it seems like Fodre has come along."(Aindri) The unlucky friend arrived. "Hey."(Fodre) Seems like Fodre sensed the mood in the others. "Just ignore them and thanks for joining us, also don't worry about the signs, Logan brought pepper spray for the bears!"(Aindri) "Um…ok."(Fodre) As they take the camping gear out of the cars, Aindri and Logan go into the woods to find a good spot for camping. Vulcan and Fodre stay behind. "Alright Logan, let's go find a suitable place, someplace with water close by, and good shade."(Aindri) "Yeah that sounds like a good idea."(Logan) While they search around the woods, they don't find many good spots, and after 10-15 minutes they encounter a tavern. "Definitely not suspicious."(Logan raising one eyebrow) "I think this looks go-." Before Aindri finished his sentence Logan interferes. "No. There is no way i'm sleeping in there, there are bones and corpses around."(Logan) "I mean its called Tombstone mountain bro, what did you expect? Don't be scared over some bones."(Aindri) "Are you trying to kill us?"(Logan) "Yes…I'm only kidding. Anyways lets go tell the other guys but don't mention how it looks, got it?"(Aindri) "Yeah…"(Logan) Poor Logan, seems like his choice of friends have cost him his peaceful life. Back to Fodre and Vulcan, they seem to just be minding their own business, looking around at the way Aindri and Logan left and at the trees seeing the birds and squirrels. "You should've stayed home instead of coming here."(Vulcan towards Fodre) "Eh I had nothing else to do so why not."(Fodre) "Now we are gonna get killed by a bear."(Vulcan while looking down at the ground) "You can just drive away if you want."(Fodre) "Good idea, but I wanna die anyways, so if its gotta be a bear then i guess it will be one."(Vulcan) "Depressing."(Fodre whispers to himself) Not long after Aindri and Logan show up, they see Logan with a worried expression while Aindri still has the same smile as before. "Hey guys we found a tavern and honestly I think it will do. Much better then sleeping outside right?"(Aindri says excitingly) "A tavern? In the middle of the forest? That's surprising."(Fodre) Aindri waves for them to get going and look at the tavern while Logan keeps looking the other way, avoiding eye contact with them. "Sorry boys."(Logan mumbling to himself) "What was that?"(Fodre) "Nothing, just wait till you see the tavern."(Logan) "Why, is it haunted or something?"(Fodre) Logan looks forward and sees Aindri staring at him. "No, it's good."(Logan) "Oh okay, guess we have nothing to worry about."(Fodre)
"Yeah...."(Logan) After a couple minutes walking, they find the tavern and it looks nothing like the horror they saw before. Aindri and Logan are surprised and accidentally let out a confused voice. "Huh?" (Logan) "It looks different."(Aindri) While they continued talking, the door opened up and there stood a woman. She seemed to be in her mid 70s; she seemed sweet and wise to the group. "Hey, boys. Going out camping in this part of the woods? That might not be a great idea with all the bears around."(Seer) "Yeah well it wasn't our idea."(Vulcan let's out a deep sigh) "Sorry to disturb you, but I thought this place was…well nevermind."(Aindri stops mid sentence noticing the looks of the others) "Oh please come on in, there is food ,water, clothes and fire inside. I'm sure you will love your stay."(Seer) "Well if you're okay with this then alright."(Aindri) "Please please."(Seer) "Yeah this lady is giving me bad vibes."(Vulvan to Logan) "I mean she looks kind and she is welcoming us in, but if you would rather stay with the bears, you're more than welcome to."(Logan) "No nevermind i'll stay."(Vulcan) "Hey Fodre, let me know if you see anything…well suspicious around here."(Aindri) "Alright, i'll be on the lookout."(Fodre) While it's daytime, everything seems to be fine. Our unlucky friends are enjoying the food, drinks and warmth of the tavern while casually talking to the elder. "This is a nice tavern that you built ma'am."(Aindri) "Well thank you. My sons built it for me out here since they know I don't like having too many people around."(Seer) "So then why invite us in?"(Fodre under his breath) "Well Logan I did think it was a bad idea at first but she's letting us drink and eat so I don't care."(Vulcan to Logan) "Yeah I guess but maybe we shouldn't relax so much."(Logan) Logan still remembers how the tavern looked before. "Thank you for letting us stay but are you sure you're okay with this? I mean all of this seems unreal."(Aindri) "Surely dear, don't look into it too hard, after all I don't have many visitors and sometimes it does get lonely."(Seer) "Oh yeah by the way, what's your name?"(Aindri) "Oh i'm so sorry, I forgot to introduce myself, they call me Sato."(Sato) "Oh okay nice to meet you. My name is Aindri, the guy to my left is Fodre."(Aindri) "I'm Vulcan, thank you for having us."(Vulcan) "I'm Logan, nice to meet you."(Logan) Night quickly arrives as they enjoy themselves. "This place seems too good to be true, and whatever that too-good lady is talking about is just confusing."(Fodre's thoughts.) Hmm maybe you shouldn't look too deep into it or you'll be dragged without anyone noticing, youngster.
