Chapter 6 - The General

After we passed the knight at the gate, we kept running towards the main hall room which was where the General was supposed to be, but things just weren't going as smoothly as we wanted. Once we got deep enough, another knight showed up, but this one was glowing in light. "I been informed that intruders were closing in quickly to the throne room, but just three won't even be enough to satisfy me."(Knight) "Shit, now we gotta deal with another one."(Fodre) "At this rate we won't even get to the general. Aindri, I think you should go on ahead and fight the General or at least stall long enough until we win against this knight."(Desin) "Wouldn't going solo be suicide? He should just stay and help us."(Fodre) "If it was that easy then yeah but the moment we stepped into this area the General will only stay for a limited amount of time unless he is fighting."(Desin) "Aindri you don't have to do it, it isn't worth risking your life over."(Fodre) "Haha don't worry about me just don't die and hurry up so you can support me!"(Aindri) "Shit! I really don't like this idea but if you're gonna go with it then I can't stop you."(Fodre) Aindri goes off towards the throne room where the General awaits him. "Let's get done here quickly and help him out."(Desin) "That's the plan!"(Fodre) The knight surprisingly lets Aindri run by. "Hmph, begin."(Knight) Fodre unleashes spikes from the ground towards the knight, which he dodges and sends a powerful slash that destroys the earth on its way to Fodre. Desin appears in front of the slash and slows it down with his ability, then proceeds to tank the attack. "Let's go!"(Desin) Desin and Fodre charge towards the knight and start a fast paced fight of parries, strikes and kicks. Desin slows the knight for as much as he could, although only lasting a second, Fodre was able to unleash a strong attack that pierced the knight's armor, making him bleed. "That will cost you dearly."(Knight) The knight embodies himself with light and goes berserk, slashing everything around him while sending air slashes at everything. "Shit he's gone crazy! Evade as much as you can!"(Desin) "Evading won't win us the fight."(Fodre) Fodre unleashes another barrage of spikes towards the knight but none pierce him. "Fuck, whats this guy made of!"(Fodre) "Alright listen I have a plan, can your spikes penetrate him if you focus all your energy on one?"(Desin) "I don't know, I can try but I'll probably only be able to make him bleed some."(Fodre) "That's good enough."(Desin) As the knight charges forward he finally stop rampaging and shows a sign of slowing down, which Desin did not miss. "NOW!"(Desin) Desin and Fodre move closer and Desin used his ability to the max, blood dripping from his nose. Fodre knows the fight depends on him now and focuses all his energy into one sole spike. A spike appears from his hand piercing through the path of victory and stabs the knight in the heart. "Aghh!"(Knight) The knight falls down into the ground in one knee, blood dripping from the hole in his chest and mouth. "We won!"(Fodre) "Yeah, that we did."(Desin) "You think you won? See if you can survive this!!!"(Knight) The knight surrounds himself with light energy and blows himself up. Fodre tried covering himself up with spikes but Desin was a second too slow since he overused his ability. The scene changes to Aindri. "The General should be just up ahead."(Aindri) A huge door stands in front of him, he senses the strong energy behind the door and opens it anyway. He sees a humanoid spirit with a blade, full set of armor and a helmet with red feathers at the tips. "Yo, you don't happen to be the General? Im looking for him."(Aidnri) "So only one has come to challenge me, seems like this won't take long."(General) He picks up his sword and slowly walks towards Aindri. "No need for chatter, let our fight speak for us."(General) "Couldn't agree more."(Aindri) The two slowly walk towards each other, and start an exchange of strikes. The General swings his sword aiming to end the life of Aindri in one slash, but Aindri evades them at the last second. Aindri sees the General's sword gaining energy slowly. Once the sword lights up completely the General swings it with all his might, and a massive energy slash comes toward Aindri. Evasion? Impossible. Solution? Imperial Eyes. Once the explosion created a dust cloud the General sees two blue eyes piercing him from the dust. He gets a chill for a second. "What?"(General) he questions what he just felt, since it's a new feeling he hasn't felt before. Once the dust clears he sees Aindri glowing faintly blue and with eyes of a different color then before, dark blue. "Haha."(Aindri) The General realizes that if he doesn't take him seriously, he could actually lose. He unleashes his armors energy and surrounds himself with it. Massively increasing his defense. Not even a second after they disappear from sight. All you can see is the slashes from the sword and sparks from the blocks. Aindri controls his energy and makes a katana made of energy. "This is more fair!"(Aindri) They slash, and slash and parry until the General makes a fatal mistake. Seeing Aindri slow down as if showing a moment of weakness he falls for the bait. Aindri dodges the incoming thrust and slashes the arm of the General holding the sword. "Phew, I'm glad you fell for that."(Aindri) "Hmph."(General) At that moment Aindri noticed a second too late. But he had been slashed as well. "What!?"(Aindri) Blood drips out from his side and he puts his hand on it, confused on what just happened. "Seriously?! I didn't even see that."(Aindri) "Haha you can't even figure it out? How weak!"(General) "Hey hey you just lost an arm, why are you so confident."(Aindri) "Losing an arm is nothing, I still have another arm."(General) He walks towards his sword and picks it up with his left hand. Aindri notices that his ability only has about a minute left. "You're running out of time aren't you. Abilities that give you such power usually have a time limit."(General) "Haha…you're right~"(Aindri) They both take a stance with their sword. The General with his right foot in front and left behind. Sword in hand and eyes closed. Aindri with his katana sheathed, slouched down a bit and eyes closed, focused. They both build up energy inside them for one last attack, and the moment an explosion outside comes to their attention they both slash toward the other. A second after they both seem perfectly fine, but the General falls to the ground, defeated. "That was close."(Aindri) As Aindri says that he is slashed all around his body, blood flowing out. "N-no way…"(Aindri) He falls down into the floor, passed out. "Man this guy is actually really tough."(Vulcan) "Just keep on attacking!"(Telia) The knight destroys the surroundings with every attack he makes. "Shit he's spamming those attacks, it aint even funny anymore! Does he have infinite energy?"(Vulcan) "No, he will run out soon if he keeps going wild like that, he's too desperate."(Telia) While they keep fighting the knight, they want him drawing out his energy, and at the same time they hear an explosion. "Shit it must have been the others. I hope they're okay!"(Vulcan) "No time to worry!"(Mark) "Focus, focus!"(Telia) "That explosion…was my brother."(Knight) The moment he looked away was the moment he lost. He fell to his knees accepting his defeat, or more like he didn't care anymore. "Well this isn't my style but we gonna move forward."(Vulcan) "Yeah, let's finish this."(Telia,Mark) The three combine their energy and unleash a massive attack that kills the knight leaving no trace of his energy left.
