Chereads / Return Of The Magician / Chapter 17 - Shadow Bane Elixir

Chapter 17 - Shadow Bane Elixir

Back at his house, Cyan set up his equipment, organizing the medicinal plants, inspecting the cauldron, and preparing for the crucial task ahead. With three days at his disposal, he would combine his knowledge, skills, and the gathered materials to create the potent potion that held the potential to save lives.

Cyan closed his eyes in meditation as he visualized the process of concocting Shadow bane Elixir. He took a deep breath, as he lit the fire beneath the cauldron, Cyan's focus sharpened as he began the process of concocting the cure that would alter the lives of those affected by shadow veil disease.

The beginning was shaky but he found the sense of familiarity as he immense himself. When the potion was about to get done, it attracted a lot of essence in the air into the cauldron, Cyan quickly activated his soul force to condense the essence into the potion.

Cyan couldn't help but feel relieved when he saw the grade of the first potion is high grade. What Cyan was hoping for with his experience was Top grade but this is his first try in this world using this world ingredient. It has proved that his reseearch can become reality going forward.

Cyan took a deep breath to clear all distracting thought as he visualized each step of his alchemical process, analyzing what went right and what could still be improved. He wanted to refine his skills further and achieve an even higher level of mastery.

As Cyan finished using the last of the ingredients, he couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. Every potion he had concocted, aside from the first try, came out as top grade, and he couldn't be happier with the results.

Carefully storing each vial filled with the golden luminance potion, Cyan admired the beautiful color and the green flecks dancing within as it brought an enchanting touch. He knew that these potions held incredible healing properties and could potentially save countless lives.

Cyan's mind raced with thoughts of what lay ahead. The families would soon be arriving at Room 5 of the black market. He had to be prepared to present them with the cure they so desperately sought.

But before that, Cyan knew he needed to focus on recharging his soul power fully. He continued his meditation, allowing the essence of the air to replenish his energy. As his soul platform healed he will be able to practice Martial art skillas warrior. He didn't want to be like Moon world where he was invested in only making potions and neglected the warrior side. He didn't want to be at the mercy of others like that again. He will have the necessary skills to fight and protect the people and things that matters to him.

He would meet the families, present them with the cure. And then, armed with their testimonies and the powerful potions he had created, he would get the attention of Commander Oliver Charleston, ready to negotiate and protect his own group.

There's still time before going to the black market, he has time to check on the progress of the group.

Cyan saw Law and Spencer surrounding a drawing on the table as they were discussing.

"Hey guys! how is it going?"

"Boss, I was about to call you to share the good news. I was able to secure the lands you marked now we can now have a big space to operate" Spencer smiled happily.

"Yea we were fortunate that the owners were moving" added law.

Cyan turned to Spencer, grateful for his efforts in securing the larger space for their operations. "Great job, Spencer. With this new land, we can expand our reach and create a stronger presence. It's a step in the right direction."

Spencer grinned. "Thanks, boss. I'm glad I could help. We'll make sure everything is set up and ready once the change of ownership is complete."

"Well I don't have to worry about you guys work. where are the rest?"

"Mattie and Dennis are busy with the security system, the rest are dealing with the rest of our shipment" answered Law.

"Hope no problem?"

"Not really except for the Henley brothers who are trying to push us out of the market." answered Law

"Tell the guys to avoid them for now and not clash with them"

"Boss are we going to continue allowing those clowns to mess around? This makes us look cowardly" Spencer said angrily.

"On the contrary, the reason I ask us to avoid them is simply because until we become mercenaries I don't want anything to go wrong. The Henley brothers are far from simple; they have the backing of the Tiger mercenary group" said Cyan.

"Boss, is this information true?" Law frowned as he asked no wonder they have been trying to push them out.

"One hundred percent true. So you see why I am trying to avoid them. I don't really care about the Henley brothers but the Tiger mercenary behind them is what I am trying to avoid. Only when we become mercenaries would we have slight protection against another mercenaries"

"Boss don't worry I would rein the guys in and tell them not to clash with the Henley brothers for now" Law assured.

Cyan nodded in understanding. He knew that his group had the potential to handle any situation, but he wanted to prioritize their long-term goals over momentarily disputes. The Henley brothers may have been a thorn in their side, but Cyan had bigger plans in mind.

"I trust your judgment, Law," Cyan acknowledged.

"For now, let's focus on building our reputation as mercenaries and raising our rank. The time for dealing with them will come, but we must ensure we are fully prepared." Said Cyan.

Law nodded, a determined look in his eyes. "Understood, boss. We'll keep a close eye on the situation and stay focused on our goals."

"That's good it's not too late for a gentleman to take his revenge" Cyan said with a glint in his eyes.
