Chapter 1 - How it all began

In a system somewhere near the center of the Galaxy called the solar system, on a small planet called Earth. humanity was doing well for itself. The year was 2077 and humanity had just announced the invention of flying cars. The population issues of earth was being addressed, pollution had been eradicated and clean energy sources were all the rage. People lived their best lives and with the introduction of flying cars scientists were going to make floating cities in order to reduce deforestation due to urbanization. The earth was in a peaceful era as no countries were so much as exchanging insults at each other. Until, one day on 7th July, 2077, an unidentified flying object entered Earth's atmosphere, it was discovered almost immediately and when the military went to investigate they found it was a small ship that contained two beings. The beings were humanoid but looked nothing like human beings, they were wearing nanotech armour that covered their entire body. Picture a humanoid interstellar being draped in sleek, iridescent nanofiber armor that shifts colors like distant nebulae. Its form exudes an intricate fusion of biomechanical elegance. Eyes, aglow with the brilliance of advanced quantum displays, analyze surroundings with unfathomable precision. Each step leaves a trace of residual energy, a testament to propulsion systems beyond terrestrial comprehension. Extending a hand, it manipulates holographic interfaces, effortlessly navigating a universe of interstellar technologies woven seamlessly into its being. This being is a living embodiment of the pinnacle of cosmic engineering. Such were the beings that stepped out of the ship. When the military tried to establish contact with them they quickly realized that the beings were not friendly beings, because of that they would attack and kill all beings that came near them be it humans or animals. The ship was equally as impressive. Imagine a small interstellar Corvette, now delicately landed on Earth. Its crystalline hull catches the sunlight, refracting it into prismatic patterns. The nano-glass canopy retracts, allowing the humanoid within to step onto terrestrial soil. The landing struts, designed for adaptability, adjust to the Earth's surface, maintaining balance.

As the humanoids disembark, surrounded by the sights and sounds of our home planet, the Corvette stands as a testament to interstellar technology on Earth. The advanced systems that enabled interstellar travel now await the next cosmic voyage, juxtaposed against the familiar landscapes of our own planet.

The type of technological statement the travellers and their ship made was wild. Luckily for humanity, the extraterrestrial beings landed in a forest that had no human beings within or around it, the only people they killed so far were military soldiers, after a while of exploration and sample collection the beings returned to their ship and flew off.

On 15th October, 2077, a mother ship that belonged to the beings arrived and started orbiting earth. Envision a colossal mother ship orbiting Earth, a celestial marvel adorned with iridescent panels that capture and refract sunlight like a cosmic tapestry. Its circular design resonates with the elegance of interstellar aesthetics, seamlessly blending with the backdrop of the cosmos. The ship emanates a gentle hum, a harmonious fusion of advanced propulsion and energy systems.

Within its expansive chambers, advanced AI systems oversee the intricate dance of drones and smaller spacecraft. Each vessel, an extension of the mother ship, is meticulously designed to complement the humanoid beings. The ship's outer hull mirrors the humanoid's celestial attire, forging a visual connection between the cosmic emissaries and their orbiting sanctuary. Together, they represent a harmonious union of technology and organic exploration in the grand cosmic ballet. After being there for five days doing what humanity to this day still believe as the ship scanning earth, something disastrous had occurred, on 20th October, 2077, a day humanity calls 'Judgment day' the mother ship released a fleet of 500 corvettes and 10 battleships to strike the earth, human technology was not made for this war, the only thing that affected the alien ships in any way were nuclear weapons and the only thing that affected the aliens themselves were explosive weaponry which did damage but not a lot of it. The war continued until 11th February, 2080, almost three years since the mother ship started orbiting the earth. During the war, humanity managed to take down about three battleships which they reverse engineered to copy the alien technology. humanity had been able to take down the mother ship through a combination of repeated nuclear assault and the use of the battleships to create stealth frigates which would infiltrate the ship and cause some damage from the inside, but humanity had not been without a loss, the loss the human beings suffered was a tremendous one, not only did the population get reduced to just above one million people, but the earth became uninhabitable due to the war.

Humanity fought through and managed to survive on earth just enough to create their own version of the mother ship that they called a citadel. Envision a citadel, a marvel of collaboration between Earth's technological ingenuity and the cosmic advancements of the humanoid beings. Rising from the terrestrial landscape, its architecture seamlessly fuses earthly elements with celestial aesthetics. The outer shell gleams with materials harnessed from distant asteroids, reflecting the interstellar elegance of the humanoid beings.

Within the citadel, corridors pulse with holographic interfaces, blending human design principles with the advanced technology of the cosmic visitors. Data streams seamlessly integrate with Earth's networks, creating a bridge between two realms. Rooms resonate with a soft hum, a symphony of technology derived from both worlds. The fusion of human creativity and cosmic innovation manifests in every facet, creating a citadel that stands as a testament to the harmonious coexistence of terrestrial and interstellar influences. Although there wasn't much coexisting, but take it as you may.

The citadel was created to be the new home of humanity as the last remaining human beings just above one million people moved into the citadel as it flew out of the earth, never to return again, given enough time humanity repopulated and at the same time created more citadels, about a hundred, each contained less than one million people. Humanity also managed to assimilate the alien technology and incorporate it into the ships they built as humanity evolved their technological knowledge.
