Chapter 44 - Sad Once Again

Flower remained stagnant on the snow filled ground for a very long time. She was lost in her own word of thoughts, as it is, it's only her who could vividly understand what's going on with herself, she knew it better than anyone. The brumal wind kept pervading Flower's body, causing her to shiver sheepishly every now and then. The brumal, wintry wind kept dispersing her hairs backwards.

Flower sighed, she uplifted her head. Aiming them towards the sky where the moonlight was being manufactured. The present moon was a full moon, it appeared radiant, emitting and distributing its lucent light over and above everything it could reach. It made the sky much more mesmerizing. Moreover, naturally, or rather most of the time, Alaska was always a wintry country, meaning, the obese, gloomy clouds that comes with the snow would have likely create a rift between the moon and the light it originally strinkle towards earth. Meaning, the moon wasn't always visible during most of the nighttime, however, presently, it's otherwise, due to the sun that resperse its light this afternoon. Scientifically proven, if the sun was ravishingly illuminating during the morning and afternoon, then definitely, the moon at night will definitely be a dazzling and tranquilize one. Thus, currently, this was the case.

Flower fancies staring at the sky, and at the horizons. She loved to also admire the splendours of the sheen and winsome twilights that appears with the sunset and also with the sunrise, she loves admiring both, including nature. To think that she would actually be left alone to admire such amazing view, but then it would have simply be more admirable if she was to stare at all these with people she cherished and was affectionate towards—Amanda, Julius or her parents. Besides, two is always better than one. Hopefully one day, she would be able to find happiness, and sadly one day she might not.

'I can't basically just roll truculently down the hill slope once again… no I simply can't go with that, I'll just be creating more troubles for myself if I do that,' she thought.

'I need to make some arrangements tool that could enhance my movement down the snowy hill slope, and convey me down leniently.'

'Only snow kayaking could get me down from here safely. But then, I have no kayaks or even a paddle. It would be hopeless trying to create one.' Flower wiggled her head in displeasure, clicking her tongues. She knew that trying to create a snow kayak would really prove to be nothing but a waste of time, efforts and strength, and all this was what she doesn't have in excess. She needed something that could convey her delicate body down the snowy hill slope swiftly and rapidly, and most importantly and which bothers her the most, leniently.

Soon enough, an idea popped into her head, she placed her hands on her jawline, caressing it with fragility, trying to assimilate the method she was contemplating, 'What if… if I could just find a long stick with a flat surface, or I could even smoothen the surface by myself. Then I could just create a snowboard, although it might be shabby, but at least it'll be manageable enough to convey me down the snowy hill slope safely.'

Flower already knew that rolling down the hill wasn't an option, basically because, this particular hill was more outrageous than the first one which she had unpredictably embodied, this particular one beseem more lethal and quite perilous. It had some sharp, pungent thorns and stones penetrating out of it, and that could tear through Flower's delicate, ghast skin. At least this was all that Flower could see, perhaps, in the morning, she would be able to speculate, and inspect it more, since it's already nighttime and everything was already dark. Even if Flower managed to come up with a suitable snowboard or skiboard, it also doesn't mean that she wouldn't sustain any injuries, however, it would just reduce them.

"I hope tomorrow goes…" her voice soon trailed off. Quickly clearing her throats, she picked up her sentence from where it trailed off to, she continued speaking to herself, "…greater than today. I just hope so."

Then afterwards, the environment fell quiet with only the sounds of crickets, chirping snowbirds and howling of some unknown animals from distance away could be heard in the province.

'I had even eliminated the idea of finding shelter just because I was overly eager to climb this snowy hill slope and see what lies beneath it,' she thought, 'Where should I sleep now? I don't think I can handle laying on this excruciating bone-chilling snow any longer,' she shivered tenderly like a chicken as she thought this. Because, truly, the snow was getting more and more severe with every seconds that escaped.

Her teeths chattered continuously and intensely, and the steams that had halted and hadn't came out of her mouth since when the sun was still dazzling had resumed.

Thankfully, for Flower the moonlight had lit up the surroundings, enough to still see the silhouette and outlines of some things that were closer to her.

Formally, Flower would have been overwhelmed by finickiness whilst and when choosing tress to sleep on. She would have been looking for a tree that could provide her with meticulous safety enclosures and protection. So that whilst sleeping she wouldn't fall off and gain wounds, as she tends to always fidget whilst sleeping.

However, henceforth, she couldn't do that today, the first reason being; she could barely even see her own self in the dark, talkless of having to see multiple trees and then being finicky about them. And then the second reason being; she was unfathomably overwhelmed by fatigue and consumed by famishments.

Flower turned backwards and began walking. And as expected she wasn't being nitpicky, infact, the first tree she came across was the one she chose immediately. She hastily wrapped her arms around it and without a second thought began shuffling herself upwards, and mounting it. She herself knew that, tomorrow was going to be tough, knowing that she would have to break down trees and smoothen it just to make a snowboard. It would require extraordinary physical potential and efforts. Even thinking about it only, was producing more irritations and fatigues for Flower. She had already gotten tired just by only thinking about it.

Upon climbing the tree with a little difficulty, she hung herself atop it like a tiny spider on its personal cobwebs which it made by itself. Basically the only difference between them was that Flower didn't make the tree, but spiders makes their spiderwebs. As usual the tree wasn't comfortable, however, it was absolutely manageable.

Flower layed her back on the tree. Staring at the skylight once again, but one would have been quick to notice that although she was staring at the sky, but her mind wasn't really focused on that. She was actually lost in space, her eyes only were focused on the sky, while her mind was somewhere else.

After much ponderings and contemplatings, her stomach growled. Realizing this, the thought of having some wintergreen berries spontaneously imposed itself upon Flower's fragile and heavy mind which had been already cascaded with abundant thoughts beforehand. Although Flower was casually underwhelmed by everything that transpired, even so, these didn't mean that she would object consuming some esculent and fetching.

As she would always thought 'eat first and then plan afterwards'.

Earlier, Flower had literally became overly overwrought with the desire and desperateness to devour, feast and scavenge all the wintergreens berries in totality, she had even apparently reprimanded herself inwardly for basically just thinking about it too much, due to the fact that she just couldn't eliminate the thoughts of its beautiful, glorious red colours from her head. Particularly because she was still famish, and partly because she just couldn't get enough of its exquisite ambrosial tastiness. However, she had punctiliously forgotten about it now, due to all the charades that just eventuate.

With that thought, Flower haphazardly unassumed a laying position. She got up and unbacked her satchel, conscientiously opening up the zipper.

She exhaled, then an in-depth, harmless smiled amalgamated her voluptuous lips. Seeing that the wintergreen berries are all still perfectly intact and esculent. Merely Just by looking at it Flower had already became satisfied and filled. But then of course, she still has to eat it physically. She smartly splitted the wintergreen berries into two, then afterwards she pack aside the ones she was going to eat tomorrow, and then she took out the ones she was going to be eating today.

Flower began picking it one after the other and continuously, she ate and chew on them like an hungry camel that had been treading the desert for months without food and water. Then she gulped down some water, she did this ceaselessly. Until she ate to her satisfaction and finished the one which she had brought out. She drank some more water. Then she backed her backpack on her back and layed back on the tree branch, where she slept off under the moonlight.
