Chapter 48 - Bear Battle

Flower glared intensely at what she was speculating at in amusement. From faraway, she could see two out of the tree bears which she had once spotted not too long ago, she could see that they were involve in combat.

Then realization dawned on pretty Flower, 'Oh, so they were the ones making those terrible sounds.' She then felt a bit relieved that lions weren't present in Alaska, as she had once stupidly thought.

Flower then resumed staring at the bears, she knew quite much about bears and their way of life. Flower had a slight feeling that both the vicious bears that were presently clawing eachother mercilessly were both males who were ready to mate. While the third one who was just standing there quietly staring at them was a female.

Meaning, both those aggressive bears were fighting over the female and who to mate with her first. Well at least this was what Flower thought was happening, she wasn't hundred percent sure if her hunch was confirm, she only just took a possible guess.

After thinking about that for a long time, Flower couldn't help but wonder what those beasts would do to her if they managed to spot her, probably tear her apart into thousands of pieces. She could vividly discern that one of the bears has already suffered a massive injury from the other. The snow beneath those wild scavengers were already starting to turn scarlet red, as blood spilled to the floor like fresh spring water from both of their body. Nudging and tearing away eachothers furry skin, and dealing crucial damages upon eachother.

Flower wiggled her head partly in displeasure and partly in profound apprehension.

With all that she was accurately percepting, Flower couldn't help but wonder;

'Am I sure that I'm not dreaming?'

All that she was seeing were too surreal to be reality. 'Am I even on earth anymore?' Flower wondered, she couldn't help but accommodate all these thoughts as all that was transpiring deemed surreal.

Snapping out of her unusual state, 'It's good that they're fighting. This is my chance to runaway without being spotted by them,' she concluded inwardly.

And then without thinking about it twice. She backed her satchel more firmly, arranged her hairs more properly so that they wouldn't scatter allover her face whilst running. And hastily did a little bit of stretching.

Turning to another direction. She exhaled. Then boom like a racer who's preparing to take part in a racing tournament, Flower got down on one knee, and as soon as that was done, she darted forward and began scampering into an unknown territory distraughtly with her entire body being pervaded with endless dread.

Hopefully the next territory which she would scamper in wouldn't contain excess bears.

As she ran determinedly, she kept praying inwardly. 'I pray they wouldn't stop fighting anytime soon.' She panted severely amidst running, clenching tightly onto the reins of her satchel. She gritted her teeths gruesomely. Knowing that if those flesh hungry cruelsome scavengers kept fighting, they might end up killing eachother, and then none of them will even get to mate with the female they were engaging in combat for. Sounds crazy, but it would be of great advantages to Flower.

After about thirty minutes of running nonstop. Flower unwillingly stopped as the urge to vomit was starting to take over her being in whole. She breath heavily and frequently. Flower was basically attempting all her best to stop herself from vomiting. She didn't want to vomit at all, the first reason being that she had barely eating a tangible meal today, so it she had to vomit, then she would be emerge by hunger, and the second reason being that it would make her pallid.

Her face had turned more pale than before. She had a trivial guess that this was happening due to not having eaten enough balance diet lately, and because their was a indecisive change in her eating schedule. Or perhaps the wintergreen berries which she had lately might've been contaminated or something.

Ignoring the feeling of uneasiness, Flower decided to advance further by walking, as she couldn't run anymore. She walked for about some minutes, and when she couldn't take it any longer, Flower turned sideways and bent down rapidly.

And then the sounds of premium barfing followed after, occupying the whole environment. She vomited everything she ate before with swift agility. Sweats instantly overshadowed her like goosebumps, and her adorable, once-red face turned even more paler, causing her to appear more ghostlike.

She heavedst an heavy sigh as soon as she was done vomiting. She panted more profusely. With both her hands resting on her waist attentively as she remained still for some minutes. Then soon, noticing that there wasn't anything to vomit anymore, she gulped down some water and washed away the leftover vomits from the inner part of her mouth, and lips.

She breath heavily and then continued walking, but this time it was at a slow pace. Although she was so strength ridden and fatigued. However, be it as it may, she knew that staying in one place could recuperate dangers for her. She didn't want to act too rash, neither did she want to act too slothfully.

Now Flower's present situation was now much more unfavorable. Reasons being that she was hungry, completely exhausted and malnourished. Additional, it was going to snow pretty soon. And from the present weather and atmospheric conditions which she was accurately discerning, the snow that might fall today wasn't going to be a gentle one at all.

The grey sky kept overwhelming itself with much more dark clouds and chubby clouds. It would be such a pain in the ass if the snowstorm comes sooner than expected.

Like a leftover fracture of bony skeleton, Flower stumbled across the unknowns with her thin legs. Although Flower wasn't someone who was obese or anything like that, but one could vividly discern that she had lost a lot of weight within the short period of time of escaping from the werewolf's mansion.

Flower could barely even walk anymore, her feets had grew extremely numby and frosty. Ambulating any further would just be as though she was causing her body so much pain and abundant torture on purpose.

In an instant, her eyelids began to feel heavy, her body grew excessively strength deprived and her hand also became heavy.

And in matters of minutes, Flower fell to the floor and passed out helplessly on the floor like a dead body. She was so tired and exhausted that her body couldn't even heed to her commands anymore. Flower remained there hopelessly and vulnerably, under the scrutiny of vicious wild beasts.
