Chapter 10 - Meeting

With apprehension and anticipation, Flower walked behind Regina. For the past few days of staying in this boring old house, eventually, today she was going to be percepting the inner view of it.

Regina took the bunch of keys from beside her dress. Clenching it firmly, she aimed it into the keyhole, and with that done, the door was unlocked. All that was left was for Regina to push it open.

Clasping the doorknob, Regina pushed it. Immediately after doing so, the door opened widely.

'Ah! So much light!'

Flower promptly used her hands as a shield upon both her eyes, to direct the light away from her face. Slowly and gradually, she finally removed her hands away from her eyes.

"Woah! It's so beautiful," she whispered.

The next thing they met with was a white and gold painted breathtaking slightly large corridor. Fancy bulbs and chandelier were hung above it, they were the ones producing the radiative blinding lights that cascaded her face not too long ago. The ceiling was very high-up and the floors were made up of marbles and tiles.

Flower couldn't help but percept the walls and pillars around her which were extremely taller than her. Appearing like a child beside the pillars.

'This looks more of a castle than a house. I shouldn't be this surprised, of course he's wealthy. What should I have been expecting anyways? A mud made house or what?' Flower fidgeted her head to her own stupidity.

She exhaled.

Turning towards Flower, Regina saw that the lady hadn't been following her all along and had just stood in front of her room door all this time.

"Young Lady?! Are you coming?!" She asked with a little bit of volume, this was done because they were quite faraway from eachother.

Then Flower speculated that, truly she has been pausing in one place all along. She had been too caught up with how beautiful the mansion looked that she had even forgotten that she was supposed to be trailing Regina from behind.

'I better get going,' she thought. Hastening her feets a bit, "I…I'm coming!" She replied Regina.

Regina then turned back and continued going. Hoping that Flower would follow and trail her footsteps as instructed. It was a very huge mansion, and Flower wasn't really familiar with it. So therefore, Regina was prompting Flower to trail her quickly, so that she wouldn't get lost.

Flower finally ran close enough to Regina's abode. Walking just few feets away from Regina as she manifested her gaze upon almost everything she was perceiving.

After walking and walking, and after turning corners and corners. Regina arrived at an entrance, then she halted.

Percepting that Regina had made a stop at the entryway. Flower who was tailing Regina from behind also halted suddenly. She glanced towards the door, it was shut.

"Is he in there?" With a raised eyebrow, Flower asked. Pointing towards the doorway with one of her fingers. Still showcasing the questioning looks on her.

With a gentle nod, Regina replied;

"Yes Young Master is in there."

"In there?" With a trivially horrified expression, Flower repeated those two last words, barely in whispers.

Then turning towards Flower properly, she continued, "You can go in, Young Lady. The door isn't locked it just seemed that way. With a slight push on the doorknob it will open. And I'm sure Young Master is in there, that's his favourite room, so surely he will be there," Regina assured with a smile.

Only Flower herself knew the reasons for her horrified expression. Regina seemed hopeless about it as she was still showcasing a gentle smile as always.

Tenderly and delicately, Flower nodded a reply, "Okay, sure. I'll go in now," Flower smiled back anxiously. When deep down she was breaking apart. Staring at the door with intensified gaze fixated upon it.

"Alright then. I'll take my leave, Young Lady," Regina showcase a trivial bow and then she turned to leave as soon as that was said.

Flower swallowed, gulping down excess spit. Leaving her throat absence of any forms of liquids and slimes. Her gaze penetrated the door like the sharp two-edged swords of a Japanese warrior named samurai.

Turning back quickly, "Mrs Regina! Let's go together…"

"Huh?! How did she…?"

From Flower's point of view, Regina was an old woman who normally walks as slow as a snail. However, now, Regina was nowhere to be found. She had already gotten so faraway that Flower couldn't even sense her anymore.

'Hmm… this woman is really something. How did she walk so fast? Tsk!'

Shrugging her shoulders, "Well it's now or never. Here goes nothing then," Flower mumbled to herself, partly in nervousness and partly in anxiety.

'I wonder why this room is his favorite room of all. What could be in there that made him loved it so much? Perhaps, I should just head back to my room. Is this all even worth it? No! I'll take this chance."

With a persistent gaze more powerful than the first one. Flower gazed at the goddamn door that contained a monster in it. She took a long and deep breath, 'Here I come.'

This was what Flower thought last before clasping the doorknob and pushing it open with her portable weight.

'Creak! Creak! Creak!' The door creaked. Flower opened the door halfways and peeped inside it. Then her eyes met with nothing but darkness and obscurity, overwhelming the place wholly.

'It's so dark?! I can't see a thing, what would that scoundrel be doing in a place as dark as this? I don't think I should go in, what if it's a trap? No it can't be, he doesn't even know that I'm coming. Maybe I should just go back, we wouldn't be able to communicate properly in this cimmerian place anyways,' she thought.

'But then, if I loose this chance. Who knows if they will ever allow me to come out of the room ever again. I'll have to go,' she decided.

Gathering all her courage in her mouth and feet, she entered in sluggishly, leaving the door behind her unclosed, then she spoke;

"Hello! Is anyone here?!"

"Hello! Hello!" She said once again. Still yet, there was null response to her words. Reaching out for the wall behind her, she spread her arms upon it. Fortunately, she found a light switch. Then she flicked it.

The globes, chandeliers and bulbs in the room immediately began to lighten up the room like the morning stars. In no time, the whole place became filled with excess quantity of light.

'Wow!' Flower gasped, her lips parted and her mouth were left agaped in profound sophistication with what her eyes saw next.
