"I did say I would punish whatever creature that tried to seek my woman's attention," he said staring at the dangling creature.
After those words made its way out of Anthony's mouth. In a blink of an eye, he threw the lizard into his mouth in whole. Then he swallowed it, Anthony let out a satisfying sigh after doing so.
Flower's mouth were left agaped as she witnessed this. Although the creature had caused her pure fear and distress, even so, she would never had wanted it dead, talkless of having Anthony swallow it for her sake.
'Goodness gracious! Disgusting! This guy is absolutely crazy!' Flower thought as she still couldn't decipher everything that just transpired. Not too long ago, she hated the lizard for causing her abundant humiliation, however, now all that she was feeling was pity towards the poor lizard that had just been murdered unpredictably.
Flower glanced at Regina and Horatio to see their reactions towards Anthony's disgustingly foul actions. Perhaps she wouldn't be the only one that was surprised.
Nevertheless, to Flower's surprise. Neither Horatio nor Regina had any disturbed look on their faces. They appeared unexpectedly calm and collective, not in the least fascinated by Anthony's doings.
'Are this people even humans? I can't believe I'm living in a place like this. They all seem to possess zero emotions. Oh heavens save me from this people,' she prayed inwardly.
Turning towards Flower as though he hadn't just swallowed a full grown lizard in whole, with his face as innocent like that of a saint.
"Problem solved. Situation has been handled," he smiled. "I hope that you will be able to relax now and get yourself under control. I'll have the house fumigated once again, in that way, you would be able to receive peace of mind and not have to worry about any bizarre creature overwhelming you in your own home."
Flower couldn't help but grasp his last words, 'My own home? Does he really thinks we're going to end up building a family together or what? Indeed he's a crazy man. Anyways what should I have expected from a man who could swallow a whole lizard? He's even going to have the whole house fumigated because of me…'
"Get ready then. We will have breakfast together," Anthony stated, jolting Flower away from her furious thoughts.
Flower nodded innocently like a newly programmed robot.
"Splendid! I'm off then," Anthony said and patted Flower's head like that of a toddler, turning away from Flower and towards Horatio and withdrawing his huge shadow which he had once casted over Flower.
"Come Horatio, I have somethings to discuss with you," Anthony said, walking nearer towards the door with every word he uttered.
Horatio promptly drifted nearer to him as instructed. He trailed Anthony from behind and they both left the room discussing with eachother briefly with Horatio saying the words 'of course' every minutes to Anthony's words diligently.
Flower watched both Horatio and Anthony with the corner of her eyes until they finally left the room and away from them.
"Young Lady, are you doing alright? Do you need me to get you anything?" Regina questioned worriedly, her looks of pity seemed genuine. So therefore, Flower too was going to give an honest reply.
"I'm perfectly fine," Flower assured, "Apparently, Anthony has already taken care of the whole situation in his own style."
Flower still haven't recovered from the shock of everything that had eventuate. From when she woke up only to catch glimpses of a four-legged creature crawling on her face, to when she began screaming and to when everyone came in only to find out that the excruciating roop she made were just due to an innocent lizard who had lost its way, till when Anthony swallowed it in whole. Everything thing still appeared spontaneously unwonted to Flower.
However, so far the whole situation had been handled by good old Anthony the great, she had nothing to be bothered and worried about.
Regina showcased a fragile smile to Flower's last sentence. "Alright then, I'll get going now, I need to check out what I'm cooking in the kitchen, I shouldn't stay here for long if I don't want the whole house to catch fire," Regina said. "I'll come back to pick you up for breakfast with Young Master. Get dressed, I'll be back soon."
This was when Flower basically grasped that Regina was wearing an apron and her hands were slightly covered in flour, which meant that, indeed she had truly been cooking in the kitchen before she came here.
"Okay," Flower replied.
Afterwards, Regina left Flower's room and off she went.
Flower heaved an outrageous sigh. She pounced back on the bed, trying to assimilate Regina's words.
'I can't believe I'm going to be having breakfast with that scoundrel. Would I even be able to eat in front of a person who just swallowed a lizard? So disgusting!'
'If I hadn't overreacted then that poor lizard wouldn't have had to go through hell. It's all my fault, but still if it hadn't crawled on my face then it wouldn't have had to suffer such terrible fate," Flower thought and sighed again.
Soon, the thought of having breakfast with Anthony cascaded her mind.
'I better go and get dressed for the so called 'breakfast' with that scoundrel,'
"Yuck!"
Flower elevated herself from the bed. She yawned sluggardly, then she did a little bit of stretching and exercising. With that done, she moved to wardrobe and clasp a towel. Flower use that opportunity to choose the clothes she wanted to wear. Fortunately for Flower, Regina had already helped her in arranging and setting the clothes that were ordered for her. However, some boxes still remained in the room, probably because it was too heavy for Regina to evacuate or perhaps it contained more clothes that couldn't fit in Flower's wardrobe.
Quickly and rapidly, Flower bathed. Coming out of the bathroom wearing a towel over her saturated hairs and body. She went nearer to the bedside, Flower picked up the dresses which she had already choose beforehand. She went back to the bathroom to get dressed.
Initially she would have admired dressing in the room, notwithstanding, she couldn't take the risk of any of them barging in and perceiving fresh glimpses of her bottom and bosom. That would be too overly embarrassing for her. Flower had already accumulated excess embarrassment before, thus now, she was taking some precautions.
Flower got dressed in no time, and advanced away from the bathroom. Shutting the door after doing so. Flower was dressed in a red palazzo trouser and a yellow hoodie. She amalgamated her head with a red beanie, her hairs flourished down to her back and her body scented delightfully as she was wearing a perfume which coalesced her body wholely.
Flower took a deep breath.
'It's just to have breakfast with him. I don't need to be so overridden with anxiousness. I'm going to be fine and everything is going to be alright,' Flower communicated to no one other than herself as usual.
Then she walked over to the sofa that Regina always sat on almost all the time she came to Flower's room. Flower sat there and patiently anticipated Regina's return. After sitting still in the same position for minutes, Flower's butt began to ache.
Therefore, she got up from the boring old sofa and walked towards the direction of the window. Most of the time, the window had always been shut, even now it was still shut and sinisterly secured behind a white curtains which was also present in the room, that one wouldn't even have been prompt in assuming that there was a window there.
Flower got to the window side, she shifted the long and enormous curtains aside with both hands, then she stared away into the deep wildlife of Alaska. Admiring the exquisite view or perhaps hating it, not that it was awful, but because coming to Alaska had recuperate so much anguish and depression for her.
Flower lifted her hands and tried to open the window.
'Creak!'
Her room door had been opened and Regina came in immediately.
Perceiving someone's present in the room, Flower hastily withdrew her hands from the window she was attempting to open. Acting as though she was just staring outside and observing the environment with no evil intentions on her mind.
Although there was nothing wrong in trying to open the window, even so, Flower still didn't want her to have any clue about what she was planning to do.
Flower whistled innocently. She acted as though she didn't know that someone was coming into the room.
From behind Flower, Regina spoke;
"Young Lady! I'm here to pick you up. Let's go, breakfast is ready."
Flower turned back to look at Regina, acting as though she was a little surprise to see Regina and that she hadn't noticed her present in the room before.
"Oh, you startled me," Flower lied.
Regina who couldn't have been able to read Flower's mind felt absolutely sorry for startling Flower, "I'm deeply sorry for startling you Young Lady. Please accept my apologies," Regina apologized.
Flower cleared her throat, "It's okay, you don't have to apologize," Flower said, feeling a little heartbroken that she made poor Regina apologized for nothing. Giving an awkward smile, "It's fine. take me to the dining room then. I don't want to keep Anthony waiting."
"Alright then. Let's go," Regina said as she led the way for them. Walking slowly as always, like a tortoise.
Flower couldn't help but feel utterly anxious. Having breakfast with ones nemesis can be so intense sometimes.
Soon enough, both Flower and Regina left the room. Flower shut the door behind them and then promptly she tailed Regina closely and anticipated nothing but the worst.
