I am suck when it comes to aura training, and it shows when I still stuck at physical augmentation while the others already learn how to enhance their senses.
It took me a while to understand how aura things work, but I eventually cracked the code.
I've been implementing mana technique for aura, which is a big no for anyone. Unlike mana where the core comes from the user's heart, aura came from every part of ny body within. In order to augment my physical strength, I need to do more than just flowing energy from one spot to another, I need to spread the whole thing.
It's like placing butter around the bread, you can't just place the butter at one spot.
And after spreading the aura, I need to think of what I want to do. Aura will move based on our subconscious and will granted the boost you desired.
It's....a bit weird, but the best thing I could think of is like controlling a giant mech. You need to turn it on before controlling which part of your body you want to move, and press button to do other things like rocket launcher, laser blast, a megaton punch, etc.
It may look like you waste your aura, but that's where human's physical strength takes place. Muscles are a perfect aura conductor, and if your muscles are weak, aura might've tear through that muscles and force your body to shut down and prevent you to use aura unless you improve your muscles.
I wish I didn't know...I can't get enough sleep for days because I'm scared that my overflowing mana will did that to my body.
Andri manage to explains that thanks to my mana cancelling out my aura trying to tear off my muscles, I will remain safe, but he also warn me not to slack off.
There's no way I will after I heard that.
Despite aura being spiritual, it works perfectlu with the physical aspects of human body, which is kinda weird, but since this world is a fantasy world, I didn't ask much.
Unique skill training is a bit interesting. Anthony didn't waste any time to flex his skill during our first spar and absolutely demolish Steven and the twin girl, which I finally learn her name is Sarah, with no mercy.
Apparently, he uses cheetah's legs and rhino's strength to knock out both of them without giving them a chance. It was an impressive strategy for a kid his age.
But sadly, I saw that trick used by American Football Players too many times that I can't help but feel bored. I beat his strategy by taking advantages of his inexperience on super speed by move away as he rush straight at me before kicking his legs with aura enhanced strength before using my aura/mana blade and place it on his throat, effectively immobilizing him.
Another thing about unique skills is that using aura can enhance the skill into a greater level, but Anthony doesn't know that, and I fully use that advantage.
And another thing is, he's a sore loser. Calling me cheater and demands a rematch. If it wasn't for mom and dad, I would beat that brat black and blue.
And as for other students, Steven is very enthusiastic about everything, asking me how am I able to do that, and so on.
I was a bit overwhelmed by his questions, I mean, he spews words like there's no tomorrow. I swear, his voices and attitude reminds me a lot of a certain hero otaku.
Sarah was too trigger happy and tries to ask if she can have a spar with me. I would accept if it wasn't for the fact that she grinned at me ear-to-ear like a chesire cat trying to prey a rat. Thanks to Lisa, she finally stops asking.
Speaking of Lisa, she's quite a bookworm when it comes to spells. She is good, but in my opinion, she lacks any creativity.
All of her spells she learn from the book is literally copy pasted, from basic to intermediate spells. Even her visualisayions for her spells are straight out of textboom.
When I suggest few tips, she refused to listen and keeps telling me to stop suggesting something impossible.
Bitch, you could at least fucking try!!!
I would love to give her a piece of my mind, but mom stop me since the girl is not ready to spar and she would like to give her few lessons before she is ready.
Thankfully, Steven isn't like that. He actually loves some of my suggestions and even add some ideas of his own. It was fun discussing it with him.
And surprisingly, when Sarah wasn't in her full blood knight mode, she's a great listener and even ask me how to improve herself. She even apologize for her sister for being close-minded.
I...am honestly not expect that. I should stop myself from judging people by its looks or first impression.
And speaking of magics, I finally did it. It took me 3 years but I finally did it. I create my first never-melt-ice!
When I show this to Andri, I have to cover my ears from bursting as he screams at me in disbelief. Apparently, I somehow creates an artificial mana core made of ice, which will constantly keeps the ice from melting, and radiates cold around the ice.
Apparently, my attempt to give mana to an ice for a period of time is a bit weird. Instead of spreading the ice mana into the never-melt ice, I compressed it into one mana orb, creating an artificial core emitting cryoenergy.
This leads me to an hour lecture from Andri. I just have to sit there while listening his lectures.
Andri did mention that I actually did something impossible, a true never-melt-ice. The ice works like how his never-melt-ice works, but instead of the core I created, he uses spirit mana.
Overall, this month of training consist of crazy things. And I wonder what will happens in the future.
