Just when the General attempts to ask about the woman, his phone goes off, stopping him from doing so. Without much thought, he takes out his phone, only to identify the caller as his ex-wife. Then all of a sudden, the pressure he felt before crossing paths with Mason earlier, finds its way back to him.
In no time, the General grows noticeably nervous which alarms Mason Kent. "Are you alright?"
Without responding to the question, General Patrick rises from his seat and walks towards the window behind his working desk before answering the call. "Miranda."
