"Alright. Alexa, take Rust to our medbay now. Have them take a look at that," Finn instructed, his tone firm as one of the women nodded and gestured for Rust to follow her.

As Rust and Alexa exited the console room, Varrick turned to Finn, curiosity etched on his face.

"So, you and Rust go way back?" he asked.

Finn leaned back in his seat, a wry smile playing on his lips.

"We don't just go way back. After your people banished him because he was involved with some highly legal and acceptable trades—" Finn began, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

"You mean highly illegal and forbidden trade for fairykind," Varrick interjected, coughing lightly.

Finn chuckled, revealing a toothy grin.

"I am a businessman, Franky. I don't do illegals. I simply supply to those in desperate need of my services. Entrepreneurs like me and Rust are condemned for our hard work!"

Varrick frowned slightly, correcting him,

"It's Varrick, Finn."

"Yeah, whatever," Finn dismissed with a wave of his hand.

"You're not so high and mighty yourself, Raccoon of the Black Trades," he added, a mischievous glint in his eye.

"Never claimed to be. How do you even…" Varrick started to ask, trailing off as he tried to piece together Finn's knowledge.

"I'm an information broker, among other things," Finn replied casually, as he settled into his plush sofa. The woman standing beside him remained vigilant, her gaze scanning the room.

Finn took his pipe and gestured for the woman to sit beside him. Although she hesitated, concern evident in her eyes, Finn insisted, pulling her by the waist until she relented.

"Rust was doing a favour for me, helping me retrieve some Taydenite from a powerful couple who had no use for it at the time," Finn began, settling into his story.

"They threw a big banquet on a planet they booked for the event. That's how filthy rich they were. They didn't just book a whole ass planet but three to celebrate some lousy anniversary! You might want to take a seat; this one's long," Finn continued, gesturing towards a chair that floated beside Varrick.

With a sigh, Varrick sat down, resigning himself to listen. Finn's voice took on a more animated tone as he continued,

"This story also covers how I met my two lovelies… Isn't that right, Camilla?" He took Camilla's chin, kissing her gently, causing her to giggle softly when they broke apart.

Varrick sighed to himself but remained attentive.

"You see, this job was the job of a lifetime! We do this, we retire for centuries, and our power couple won't even feel a thing was taken from their pockets," Finn said, watching as Camilla left to retrieve something.

"The problem was, this couple invited every snake, slimy coward, rat, the rich, the powerful, and everyone from far and wide. Rust is an expert in assassinations and retrieving stolen goods, the kind of professional that not everyone could afford or even knew existed! That was until that fateful day," Finn continued, his voice growing darker as he clenched his fist, teeth gritted in anger.

"I was also in on the operation. The Taydenites were on another planet nearby while the goods I needed were on a different one. We attacked simultaneously, and bypassing the security systems was a piece of cake since I was part of the team hired to install the latest firmware before the wedding began. On Rust's end… there was this famous To'kustar who was very wealthy and powerful. He was invited and present on the planet Rust was supposed to steal from," Finn explained, accepting a drink from Camilla as she returned.

"You wouldn't mean the late Tek'rag, would you?" Varrick asked, his eyes widening as he accepted a drink from Camilla as well.

"Yes," Finn confirmed, his expression grim.

"Oh, shit," Varrick muttered, already sensing where the story was heading.

"Yeah. Tek'rag was a very powerful warrior, reputed to be the strongest being in the universe. Even Vilgax the Conqueror had to respect him, but all that came crashing down in one day. You see, Tek'rag was known not to spare any expense in acquiring the best armour and weapons money could buy. He was famed for his expensive, enchanted twin-blade axes that could fly on their own and respond to their master's call from any part of the universe—or so the stories go," Finn said, taking a sip from his drink as Camilla sat beside him, resting her head on his shoulder, her arms draped across his shirtless chest.

"The twin-blade axes were made of Infinitum and Taydenite. I don't even know the blacksmith, but they must've been good. Anyway, Rust had already finished stealing—" Finn coughed, correcting himself, "I mean, retrieving the Taydenite crystals from the treasury and gift vault on that planet when someone had to mess it up."

Varrick leaned in closer, eager to hear the details of Tek'rag's downfall, only to find Finn once again kissing Camilla. Varrick leaned back, rolling his eyes as he waited for Finn to continue.

"There was this giantess named Fate. How ironic," Finn said, shaking his head. Camilla's expression darkened at the mention of the name.

"In a way, she's both the pride and disgrace of the Tetramand. That's why you notice the sad face my cutie-pie is making," Finn added, lowering his voice as he gently stroked Camilla's hair.

"Anyway, that bitch just had to challenge Tek'rag during the party. She wanted his twin-blade axes and his head. Tek'rag was a battle junkie like her, and he assured the guests that all would be fine as they moved to another part of the planet, far from the guests. The battle began, and Fate was just feeding Tek'rag blows that shook the planet multiple times. It caused quite the scene and created the perfect distraction for Rust's escape," Finn continued, clearing his throat before resuming his normal tone.

"It didn't even last a minute. Tek'rag's body was dismembered in the most gruesome way possible. He didn't even have a chance to use his twin-blade axes against her. She demanded Tek'rag honour the code of battle and hand over the ownership of the twin-blade axes to her while he was still alive, all while stepping on his head. Tek'rag, too proud to refuse, told her that all she had to do was spill her blood on the axes and recite a few lines. She did, and ownership transferred to her. With those twin-blade axes in hand, she cut off Tek'rag's head," Finn said, his voice tinged with disgust.

"But the force she used was enough to slice the planet apart at its core, causing a massive shockwave that threw everyone into orbit and beyond, resulting in the planet's complete destruction," Finn concluded, shaking his head as he recalled the catastrophic event.
