As Mila heard the name, her expression shifted slightly, a hint of curiosity mingling with a tinge of wariness. Lady Arabella Sinclair was one of the people that she met the previous night at Lady Amira's salon party. Although the lady has been treating her well and she has a good impression of her, she still can't help but be wary of her sudden visit, even though they are more like acquaintances than friends.
She wondered if this was the norm in the world in which she was living.
"Guide Lady Arabella here," Mila replied to the servant before turning back to Isaac, her mind already racing with possibilities. "It seems we have an unexpected visitor. Lady Arabella Sinclair wishes to speak with me."
Isaac's brows furrowed slightly at the mention of Lady Arabella's name, and he halted his move as he was trying to tidy up his clothes.
