Chapter 95 - That time was different

Ariel and Raymond had a rather soft landing thanks to the trees and thick yet soft bushes but they were not alright. At least Ariel was but for Raymond, his arm was bleeding profusely thanks to the bullet and Ariel was trying all she could to stop the bleeding.

She ripped her dress to soak up the blood that kept gushing out and maybe stop the bleeding but it was the kind of fabric that was easy to rip and not absorbent.

She took off his coat to use and while she frantically tried to stop the bleeding, Raymond watched her. He was in pain, yes but the way she acted so worried about him made him feel special and it distracted him.

With his other hand, he stroked her hair and she looked up, showing her teary eyes.

"Hey, don't cry." He said to her but she could only cry more and say,

"But you're hurt."
