*Splash* Ariel slowly opened her eyes and noticed she was in a pool of water. Actually, a tub.. She was seated in a bathtub which had water filled to her breast level.
'It hurts.' She thought, squinting her eyes. Her entire body was once again aching with the bruises she got from Leo.
Who knew torture after bliss would hurt this much. In the past, maybe it didn't hurt so much because she had never felt real happiness and bliss for even one moment.
'I seem to have indulged myself too much in Sir Raymond's comfort.' She thought, resting her head at the edge of the tub and closing her eyes for a brief moment.
The water was hot and she felt relaxed. Maybe this moment was the only time she had to feel comfortable before they came back to torture her...
Her stomach grumbled and she let out a soft and silent mutter,
"I'm hungry."
