Raymond's eyes dimmed. She said she would be fine? Why did she say that when walking into the hands of two demons?
Why didn't she struggle? Why did she go with them? She said she trusted him? But what if he couldn't find her now? What would he do if he ended up destroying the trust she so hopefully placed on him?
"How did they find this place?" He growled and White felt goosebumps rising on his back. He was guilty of this but he was not going to let Raymond find out. He would make sure Raymond did not find out.
Raymond decided it was time to take serious action. He was no longer going to act rational. If they dared to hurt Ariel, that would be the end of them.
"White." Raymond called. "Spread the word."
White nodded, with complete understanding of what Raymond was talking about and walked away.
Raymond took out his phone and made a call to Paige.
"You said you'd help me to keep her safe, right?"
