Jane got to Stein's mansion and met Rachael playing house with Romeo. Seriously, even after all that matured young lady act, she was still just a little girl.
"You're here?" She heard Steve's voice and turned her head.
"What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be at the facility?" Jane asked and he nodded.
"I was but Raymond called. He wants us to have a meeting of some sort." He said and glanced at the kids. "How was your trip? I reckon it was loud?"
"Haha, it was loud alright." She chuckled. "Anyway, I got back safely so that's all I care about."
"And you guys did a good job so it's commendable." He said, bringing her thoughts back to her acceptance letter.
"By the way, I guess you and I are going to be working together from now henceforth." She said and he looked at her, nodded and looked back at the kids.
He was not the type to show much excitement, she assumed.
