"You did it with me when you guys were still dating so why would it be different if we did it while you guys are married?"
The lady's voice was so demanding and desperate. If asked, she would immediately be pointed out to be the reason they had been continuing whatever that had been up to.
"It's different." Daniel claimed. "I did it with you all this while because I never really got over you but now, I can do without you. I don't need to see you or have sex with you to feel complete. All I need is Jane, I…" he gave out a breath. "I really love her and I don't want to hurt her."
"So you think you've not been hurting her by having sex with your ex for three years without her knowing?" The lady asked and Jane covered her mouth, tears slowly brimming down her cheeks.
"I know." Daniel sadly said. "And I regret it. I regret not cutting things completely with you back then. I regret… keeping this a secret and I feel ashamed."
