Steve looked at them as they were fidgeting. They looked awfully suspicious and he looked behind them at the restroom entrance.
"We tried to warn her." One of them suddenly began and he looked at them. "But she wouldn't listen."
"What are you talking about?" Steve asked with furrowed eyebrows. "Where are they?"
"The girl. The little girl… she said some rude things and my friend got mad. We advised her not to take it to heart but she was adamant and…" she paused and pursed her lips.
How was she so sure that what she said next wouldn't implicate her.
"I'll ask you for the last time." Steve said, his eyes becoming fierce as he glared through his glasses. "Where are they?"
"They… they're still in the washroom." They answered.
"Lead the way." He adjusted his glasses.
"But…We have nothing to do with it. We…"
"I said lead the way." Steve yelled which brought about too much attention to them.
