Alexa did not expect such a proposal. It was so sudden.
"Um, I'll have to think about it." She said,
"It's not too much. Just the weekend. Your trip to and fro will be taken care of and I'll make sure you're not in any form of discomfort." Raymond assured and though she got what he was saying, she still wanted to think things through.
"I understand but I still need to think about it. I'll also have to make sure I don't have any weekend plans scheduled for the future so it may take a while." She said and looked away. "Maybe a day or two. I'll tell you my decision then."
"Alright. Thank you, Miss Alexa." Raymond said and made his way out of there.
Once he was gone, Alexa breathed out in uncertainty. Today, Raymond talked more than usual. He actually went ahead to say things without being told and he took the initiative towards getting more treatment.
