Raymond was defeating his enemies and pulling them down like they were flies. He had gotten so much control in the Stein enterprise that many were already referring to him as the next patriarch.
His iron fist was like that of Philip when he was his age. That was the comment most of the old men in the family made in gatherings and events. And Raymond would respond like this,
"I am flattered. But I am sure I still have a lot to learn." As if mocking Philip with those words, he'd glance at him, smile and drink from his champagne.
Philip didn't know what made Raymond change his mind and why he suddenly became interested in the family affairs but he was proud. Though Yara continuously warned him that Raymond was definitely plotting something, he brushed it off as her being jealous that her child was incompetent and would not get to inherit the family title.
