Hundreds of people moved around, each attracted to the entertainment sector for various reasons, some for enjoyment while others for business and a few for protection. Multiple gaming arcades were inviting young kids, teenagers and adults as they tried to get as many customers as possible by providing irresistible offers. Some of the big shops also rented and sold VR games. According to Luther's initial plan, he would have spent a few hours here trying out many games before buying one and going back home. Alas, life doesn't always go the way we want.
Besides gaming arcades, there were also many shops selling the latest products of many high-tech gadgets in the market. These gadgets were made using the latest advancements in technology and each one of them could blow your mind. The advancement in cybernetics to improve different body parts was the most exaggerated.
There were also food stalls spread across the street selling a large variety of dishes, many recipes passed on to the current generation from ancient times. These dishes were to die for as their taste could take you to heaven. Just looking at them made people droll making it irresistible.
The trio of a senior and his two juniors stopped by a rather small shop with the signpost 'Bag Stock' and below it was written ' we sell all kinds of bags. Any kind of bag you want we we can get it for you, if we don't then we can make it for you.' The shopkeeper had a creepy face, slanted eyes and a crooked nose. He looked like someone a very rude person.
Upon seeing customers, the shopkeeper revealed his dirty teeth in his attempt to smile, Kazuki guessed.
"Senor, is it true that you sell all kinds of bags?" Catarina asked the shopkeeper. Kazuki was surprised that a girl would approach someone as ugly as the shopkeeper. He thought all girls thought it was beneath them to talk to such a person. Of course, his thoughts were based on all of his life experiences. He realised she was not the typical type of girl, there was something very different about her.
"Yes, I have dedicated myself to the art of creating all kinds of bags. It started when I luckily had a spirit awakening, but awakened a common grade spirit - a common bag, the weakest grade of spirit. It was not even an attack-type spirit." Surprisingly, the creepy-looking shopkeeper was very polite.
"Then, we need a bag that can fit a living human without affecting his breathing."
"Is it for the boy you carrying on your shoulders, mam?"
"Yes, we need to travel with him for quite a distance."
The shopkeeper shouted, "One alive-human storing body bag 6 feet tall." The simple working-class robot soon brought the bag.
Kazuki exclaimed, "You make such kind of bags??! Just what kind of a shop is this."
"Sir, I make all kinds of bags, it's my job and source of income. Also, your request is not as unique as you think. People come to me with all kinds of weird requests. You would be surprised by the varieties of bags."
Justice said in a rushed voice, "How much is it?"
"1000"
He handed the money and after putting Luther in the bag they immediately merged into the crowd trying to hide from their enemies.
In the Bag Stock shop, the shopkeeper's phone rang thrice before he picked it up. The voice from the other side spoke, "Shopkeeper, did the people I mentioned arrive yet?"
"Yes, Sir. They just purchased an alive-human storing body bag like you had told me."
"Where did they go?"
"Sir, they blended into the crowd and disappeared from my view."
"Hmm, that's alright. Your reward will arrive at your shop. Thanks for your help. Until next time."
"Thank you, Sir. Until next time." The line died and the shopkeeper of Bag Stock slumped down in his chair and looked at the crowd outside with sad eyes, "Sorry, little miss."
----------------------------
In the armoured truck
The officer got up and called a number. The line was picked, "I have sent you the coordinates of the area they were just seen a few moments back. They seem to have blended into the crowd but it shouldn't be hard for you guys to find them. I have already sent you their images and all the information we have on them. Make sure the mission is a success."
The phone call was immediately cut.
---------------------------
"Aaaaah, for how long do we plan to hide in the crowd like cowards? This is so boring and is getting on my nerves." Kazuki said in an irritated voice.
"If you don't want to stay put then leave. Try reaching Dead Will Club on your own alive, spoiled brat."
Kazuki was angered, "You, what did you just say? If you repeat that, I will draw my sword at you."
"Then, do ..." Justice covered Catarina's mouth stopping her from speaking.
"Juniors, this is not the time to fight amongst ourselves. We have a common enemy who wants to kill us. Our life is in danger. I have a plan in mind, so please trust me and follow my instructions."
Justice thought to himself, "Kazuki and Catarina are just kids. They might be hungry which makes them restless and leads them to argue. Maybe I should buy some snacks on the way to Hans's place."
"Both of you, we are going to buy some snacks. Let's have some momos before we move forward." The two of them had no objection, they were very hungry.
There were scores of food stalls around them but one of them had a very interesting food stall design with Chinese letters written on it. For a food stall, it looked very authentic.
Justice ordered without looking at the shop's menu, "Make 3 plates of steam momos quickly. We are in a hurry." The trio got a glimpse of the cook making momos, which were flour-based and stuffed with many vegetables heated on artificial coal. Their mouths watered just by looking at it.
"3 plates coming up in 2 minutes. Please wait."
Suddenly, Mei popped in front of them as she brought alarming information, "Heart, I have located 10 hostile people headed for you. These people are not your average warriors but assassins from the Killer Garden, a notorious syndicate popular for accepting all kinds of criminal jobs."
The next moment, Justice pushed Kazuki and Catarina with force as a sharp dagger sliced through the air passing through the spot they were standing in. They would have been seriously injured or dead had he not pushed them back in time.
