Asta, Noelle and I made our way through the strange and random corridors following Nero and even passed an area where the gravity was all wonky, but flew relatively easy. Asta ran after a walking treasure chest which I was sure was a monster and when he finally opened the lid, I was proven right and nearly lost my lunch as I saw human organs inside it.
After that we were running/floating through a corridor when Noelle and I sensed magic power to the left of us. Noelle postured that it was most likely Luck and he was fighting a Diamond Mage as they were definitely going to enter the dungeon to get it's treasures.
We all decided to help Luck first and then head to the treasure hall. So we quickly made our way toward where Luck was most likely fighting the Diamond Mages.

"Here boy, let me take your worries away." Lotus said as he moved his hand toward Luck as if to attack.
"Hargh!!"
**SLASH**
Just in the nick of time Asta came by and slashed the smoke binding Luck.
"Oh, and who might you be?" Lotus asked as he saw Asta.
"Who am I? I am his friend." Asta shouted.
I then landed next to Asta with Noelle running up as well.
"You're gonna take us on now. Are you ready?!?!" Asta said.
"Oooh your friends are coming out to play, how delightful." Lotus said as he had his hand on his chin.
While Lotus might've seemed confident, he sensed some incredible power from the tall kid of the group and just as soon as he felt it, it completely vanished. It was like the kid wasn't really there, and it gave him eerie vibes.
"He's mine, he's my prey" Luck said as he stood up and got ready to fight Lotus again.
Luck then began to rush at Lotus despite our efforts to convince him otherwise. He had a manic look in his eyes and general expression and had an unhinged tone in his voice as if he wasn't fully present in the moment.
"I'll take him on by myself, stay back! I dont need friends to help me win, i'll use the power only i possess." Luck said with that same unhinged tone of voice.
"Luck wait..." Noelle started before being stopped by Luck's words and then my hand on her shoulder.
"I have to beat him by myself or I will never gain my mother's acceptance." Luck said passionately.
Knowing that no matter what we said at first, he wouldn't listen, I stopped Noelle from trying to convince him.
"Don't bother, he doesn't seem to be all there at the moment. Your words will simply go in one ear and out the other. It is best to back up our words with our actions, we will show Luck that he has people who care and can rely upon." I explained as I charged up some wind magic.
Luck continued to fight Lotus and right as he was going to be hit with a large cloud of smoke, Asta stepped in and slashed through his magic and then a large amount of wind blew the smoke away from the general area.
"Argh! I'm not done!" Asta shouted as he began to slash through more and more of the smoke magic.
"Neither am i!" I shouted along with him.
During all of this, Luck seemed to be stuck in some kind of trance and had stopped moving. I knew this was Luck having his moment of self reflection as Asta continued to speak.
"I don't know what you think of me, and I don't care. But you're my friend, you're our friend. So we are going to help you got it!" Asta said with much more passion than Luck had earlier.
I began to give my piece as well as I knew how Luck was feeling from watching the anime in my past life. He felt that he'd be alone if his mother didn't accept him and he couldn't seem to understand that he actually already had friends and he wasn't alone.
"He's right, you aren't alone, we're your friends, you can rely on us, we will be there for you and we'll protect you, because that's what friends do. And we are members of the Black Bulls and we take care of our own." I said matching Asta's passion.
"You're right! It does sound a lot more fun to fight together!" Luck exclaimed, his eyes and expression having returned to normal.
"You got that right!" Asta replied.
"It's good to have you back in the fight" I added.
"Hmph!" Noelle said.
'Ugh what a prissy bitch. Damn Tsundere' I thought to myself.
"Well this is a less than ideal turn of events. If that's how it's going to be, I guess it's time for me to get serious" Lotus said as his grimoire began to glow before a gigantic cloud of smoke was expelled from his grimoire filling up the entire cavern we were in.
"Okay this is getting tedious. Do you guys mind if I take care of this one. You guys just support me in case something crazy happens." I asked then said.
"We should fight together!" Asta argued.
"Believe me, I know how you feel, but we came here with a job to do, and this guy is in the way, so we gotta take him out and get to the treasure hall." I explained.
They all seemed to finally agree and Luck already knew how strong I was as I had beaten him easily.
"Alright, you can take him on, but I get to fight you later when we get back to base!" Luck said in his normal excited voice.
"Fair enough." I replied with a grin.
"Are you sure you will be okay on your own?" Noelle asked in a rare moment of care.
"Course I will Princess, I'm the Black Bull's secret weapon." I joked with a wink.
"Ugh insect." She replied but I saw a visible blush on her cheeks so I didn't say anything about her words.
"Alright Mr. Diamond Mage, you're about to face the Black Bull's secret weapon, are you ready?" I said to Lotus as my eyes began to glow silver.
AN: MCs eyes only glow red when he is using his blood manipulation otherwise it glows silver
