Chapter 26 - Chapter 26

"Master, Come and See. A Success Probability of 90%".

Louis who was eating like a gentleman instantly changed his eating style after hearing what Zero told him, he ate few more spoons before he dropped the plate and covered it. He soon got to Zero who was configuring the formula while writing out the materials that might be needed.

Louis started intently at the screen and the scientific intuition he has honed over the years gave him a possibility of it's reality. Few seconds later, Zero was still writing, jotting the various inferences he is observing from the contrasting characteristics of the flora and fauna byproducts he was planning to use.

As soon as Zero finished writing, Louis picked the pieces of unglued paper as he walked out of the command room to the laboratory.

WUUUUU. As soon as Louis was few meters away from the entrance to the laboratory, the door opened and Louis entered soon followed by Zero. Louis who had never journeyed into the facility was amazed by the intricate designs and the balance between aesthics and technology,(description of a sci-fi laboratory) a very warm room with the humming of various machines, apparently ready to be put into action.

"Zero, the materials are not ready yet. Get me the raw materials very fast, I really can't wait to start working on this project", Louis said to Zero who was just sitting on a nearby chair.

Zero deformed as he went out, taking the shape of a little bird with the jars, sweeping net and other needed tools as he journeyed into the forest.

Louis while waiting went out of the lab again as he was not patient enough to have the full details of the building.

The building is encased within a sleek, crystalline structure that seems to blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings, this state-of-the-art facility is a sanctuary for innovation and discovery.

(I guess you really wanna knowww the details...)

The exterior façade of the laboratory is constructed from smart glass and nanofiber composites, offering both aesthetic appeal and unparalleled functionality. The surface of the laboratory is embedded with photovoltaic cells and adaptive camouflage technology, allowing it to harness solar energy (for the lightening of the building as the main source of power is the power room) while maintaining a low profile.

At the entrance a pair of massive, automated doors made of reinforced carbon-fiber alloys serves as the gateway to the laboratory. The doors are equipped with biometric scanners and neural interface systems, ensuring secure access for authorized personnel. As visitors step inside, they are greeted by a grand atrium (though currently a little bit small in size because of the low level of the Lab) adorned with holographic displays showcasing the latest research projects and scientific breakthroughs( which is currently blank).

The main laboratory is divided into specialized zones, each equipped with cutting-edge instrumentation and advanced robotics(of course most of them are locked because of the low level). Workstations featuring level 1 holographic interfaces and augmented reality systems line the perimeter, providing researchers with real-time data visualization and simulation capabilities.

"I should have come here for the analysis and simulation", Louis who is already back inside said as he looked at the beautiful scientific facilities like a man was looking at his ....

Zero flew back with a carton almost full with five portions of each materials. He soon turned back to human as their work was about to kickoff.

Louis and Zero wore their lab coats, obviously produced by the system and also wore their gloves, ready to embark on an extraordinary scientific endeavor that will be the first product made by them and the first of it's kind in their part of the continent.

Louis, clad in a white laboratory overall (unknown to him they were from the threads of ethereal spiders, a rank 2 fierce beast) stood before the work table as they start the first process if extraction. The active ingredient needed in each of the flora species brought were been extracted into conical flasks, soon a rainbow of extracts in conical flasks were in the table. Zero being a good research assistant was rewarding the flasks with a specimen names.

"Overlord AI, open a file, Medicine and a subfile...", Zero who was giving instructions to the Artificial intelligence for recording looked at Louis to suggest a name for their first project.

"Illumination", Louis said as he reached out his hands into the shelf to take out a measuring cylinder and few pieces of test tubes.

He was still not fully used to this advanced but level 1 laboratory that he has, he is used to the trial and error method until it just occurred to him that they might just use the Level 1 Quantum Computer one of the equipments in the laboratory to simulate for the quantity of extracts, the order they should be added and the time they should be added because all they had on ground was the combination that has the highest probability of working out (what do you expect doing a laboratory's work in the command room...).

"Yes Master", a cold mechanical voice sounded as the computer swung into action, thousands of calculations at the same time and the screen continues to scroll a long line of codes.

Louis who just finished eating a while ago felt the urge to sleep so he adjusted his position since the chair was comfortable and he slept off leaving the busy AI and Zero whose face was on the screen and he did not notice that his boss was asleep.

After almost an hour of silence, a repeating short beep sounded waking up Louis who was already in Dreamland.

"Simulation Complete".

"Formula Generated. Permission to save to subfile".

"Permission Granted", Louis replied angrily. He just managed to escape Old Fallon's sight and was about to have fun with Elsa when the beep brought him back to reality.

"Wrong Timing", he said as he hissed and stood up to check the screen.

"Can this formula be 100% guaranteed?"

"The Quantum Computer is Level 1 so I can only guarantee 50% but with the addition of the memory it has improved to 60% as there is a drug with similar effect and composition."

"At least this is better than trial and error", he beckoned to Zero who almost immediately got to his side and went into assist mode.

"The process is of three steps so let's try and see what we can do".

Measurement with the help of the measuring cylinder soon started and they were measuring specific amounts of the extracts into the test tubes.

Glasses began to make sounds as they were busy checking time and adding the extracts into a beaker, the beaker soon began to show myriad colors as they were not to mix until all the extracts have been added. After about five minutes of adding correct quantities at the correct time, they were done with the first part of the process.

"ZERO, handle the second process", Louis said as he goes to the other table to measure the only remaining ingredient which is the extract from the Green Lotus, a very rare plant to find even in the forest which was needed in a very minute quantity.

The Giant Centrifuge soon stopped rotating which ended the second phase of the process.

1... 2.... 3.... 4.... 5.... A drop of the stabilizer dropped into the beaker and a pleasant aroma soon wafted out.

"No Explosion", Louis said.

"It is a SUCCESS", Zero shouted and they ran to check the reward of their hard work. They really succeeded at the first instance which was not normal but a little bit of luck plus the simulator doing more than half of the work solved the problem.

[Side Quest]

[Make a Level 1 Product (completed)]

"Double happiness, I think there is still some luck remaining."

Louis hurried to withdraw the reward.

[Production Material for Five Liquid Robot].

[in Inventory]

"Double happiness indeed", Louis roared out in laughter.
