The upgrade instantly was updated on the system interface and ding there was another notification of a hidden task being completed.

The already elated Louis was more joyful as he had been thinking of how to get points to increase the level of the command room as he planned to Upgrade the two most important facilities together, disregarding the Laboratory which was the third as his knowledge was still not up to the level.
"Before my knowledge reaches level 1, I really don't need a higher level of laboratory", he thought as he proceeded to use the other rewards.

Not longer than Five seconds a short beep sounded from the Command room while the system interface affirmed the completion of the order.
"Then create another file, name it Portals and input the blueprint of the level 1 portal into the system.
Then he checked the System Inventory to know what was remaining.

Louis was a little bit happier about the level 4 Souldevourer worm as he has been thinking of something to make his men loyal.
[The Soul Devourer acts using the Swarm Model, all obeying the mother nest and even though the Souldevourer worm is level 4, once activated it will be at the infant stage and it can only control two worms at that time]
"I guessed as much", Louis hissed as he activated the Souldevourer worm.

"What's the benefit of doing it this way?", Louis who was a little confused about the system's advice asked curiously.
[This makes the Souldevourer Mother Nest part of the command room and not just part of the System. It also increases its growth rate and most importantly it makes your worm immortal in a sense as all information gotten from other subordinate worms are passed directly to the mother worm to your command room straight]
"Wow, things are getting a little bit more interesting. Is the same mechanism functional for the Liquid Robot?"

Louis looked at the Liquid Robot who looked exactly like him and he smiled broadly showing his white teeth.
"I am going outside now".
Liquid Robot Alpha said after visuals of his vision started showing in the control room and the audios on both sides are going through.

About a week had passed and the Bloodhawk were already tired and frustrated.
"I didn't know you were these incapable, you have been unable to catch a little boy and it is almost a week now", Young Master of the Cain clan bellowed on the WCD.
This is the fifth time he has been asking the Bloodhawk for updates on the mission he gave him and the same excuses was being given to him.
"Young Master, he ran into the forest and he had not come out since then. My men are stationed at the exit of the forest and he had not been seen for the past few days and according to the information gathered he is just an ordinary man, a level 1 Scientist with no background. He is likely to have died", Skyhawk replied in a gentle and apologetic tone.
"Whether he is alive or dead, I want to see his body", Brad replied as he cut the call.
Skyhawk sulked but he knew the temperament of Brad, how childish he could be.
"Lucas, tell your men to intensify their search. The Young Master is furious and his patience is wearing out".
"Yes Boss".
Louis at this time was on his way out of the forest as his journey to hegemony commences.
(Louis could either be the Louis or the Liquid Robot Body Double - will be specified)
"Guys, I hope you get what the boss is saying do now you have to comb through the near light forest, don't go too deep and anytime you notice any strange movement attack if you can and if not run back", Lucas warns as he sends them to search for Louis's body as they all assume that Louis would have died by then.
GBOWW. GBOWW.
The sound of waves of bullets making their way out of the barrel sounded from the forest. Apparently they have met a worthy opponent as the shooting and the rated of shooting increased.
From afar off two men were seen with gashes bleeding heavily on their hands and legs, they all seem to be caused by a fierce beast. And not long after, other members of the Bloodhawk started trooping out with various degrees of wounds.
"Unlucky fellows", Lucas muttered as he already knew they encountered an incident with very low probability of happening, meeting a fierce beast at the mouth of the forest.
Lucas was short of words as he knows there was nothing really he could say that could console these people. They are the lowest in hierarchy as a result of their know strength and those kinds of situations were not novel.
"Set up the tents for the wounded. Others stand on guard", Lucas said as he walked to the tent he resides in to rest.
The members of the Bloodhawk murmured as they obeyed Lucas's order which they dare not defy as he is of higher rank than them.
"He is coming out".
"Alive", the whistle man with binoculars shouted to the gang members.
Lucas who was on his way to getting a good night rest walked out and of course he met this people standing vigilantly waiting for the culprit.
The moment the angry Bloodhawk guys saw the silhouette of Louis coming out of the forest very late in the evening, they moved close and surrounded him.
"Skyhawk, target found". This was the scream out of happiness made by Lucas who was happy to finally leave the forest - a damn place where even the strong are not sure of coming out alive.
Skyhawk on the other side was happy that he could finally be free from Brad's nagging.
"GET HIM HERE ALIVE".
