Chapter 61 - Chapter 61: Energy Spear

Absorbing the new energy from the array, Jun decided to take things slow, even though his thoughts were accelerated by 15,000 thousand times, he still needed to make sure what he was about to do was correct.

What Jun was doing has never been attempted or even thought of in the history of Eternal Continent. One small mistake could cost him his life but Jun was ready.

With steady focus, Jun directed his energy towards the core of his being, where he would forge his dantian. The concept of the dantian was deceptively simple yet inherently profound. It manifested as a rotating sphere formed from one's essence, nestled within the core of their being.

This sphere served as both a reservoir and conduit for spiritual energy, its integrity paramount to a cultivator's existence. Once broken, one's connection to spiritual energy would be severed, rendering them as vulnerable as any mortal.

Given the importance of it, Jun focused his entire attention on forming the shape of it. Every cultivator would choose a sphere as the structure of their dantian but Jun decided to choose something a bit more unique.

His choice: the Fibonacci spiral—a pattern ubiquitous in nature's design. Though Jun had only encountered two-dimensional depictions of this spiral in his previous life, his formidable comprehension speed of 15,000 times normal made translating it into a three-dimensional model a feasible task.

Even if other cultivators knew of Jun's amazing concept on the core principles of dantians, would they even be able to replicate what he is doing right now? What Jun is doing requires high energy control, which almost everyone on Eternal Continent does not possess.

Jun meticulously visualized a three-dimensional replica of his chosen Fibonacci spiral. With unwavering focus, he began channeling his energy into the envisioned shape, layer by layer, steadily building its foundational structure with each passing moment.

Slowly, the energy converged into a spiral shape, each little bit of energy going into its rightful place.

Minutes later...

Exhaling a bit, Jun spoke "Finally... but I feel like it's still lacking something," Jun murmured, his mind fixed on the outline of his dantian.

Pausing to scrutinize the dantian closely, Jun's mind raced until suddenly, a realization dawned on him.

"Oh! Why didn't I see this earlier?!" Jun exclaimed, a burst of excitement coursing through him.

Jun had long forgotten his immortal level technique called the Energy Spear technique, which at its core uses a concept that Jun wanted to implement into himself but didn't know at the time.

The concept Jun recalled was known as compression, a technique that he remembered when sculpting the exoskeleton of his dantian. As he observed its initial form, dry and pale, inspiration struck.

However, a challenge presented itself. In his current state within the body tempering realm, executing such a technique was beyond his capabilities. Yet, with a bit of creative thinking, Jun devised a solution to overcome this hurdle.

Taking references from his healing technique, Jun decided to add another array to the already existing ones. Unlike the others that changed the properties of the outside spiritual energy or gathered the spiritual energy, this one's sole job was to compress the new spiritual energy into scarlet spiritual energy for now.

Standing up, Jun set to work creating the array, a task that now felt as easy as breathing with his heightened comprehension speed.

Focusing his energy on his dantian, Jun pondered the potential effects of compression. He believed that compressing his energy could enhance the durability and output of his dantian, although only time would reveal the truth of this theory.

As scarlet harmonic energy infused his dantian, Jun watched as it slowly integrated, transforming the structure into a deep shade of blood red. Yet, despite this progress, Jun felt that he had not yet reached his limit. In a previous endeavor during the 5-star City Lords game, he had managed to compress his energy to the orange level, indicating the potential for further refinement.

But that will have to wait after he reaches the new Qi realm.

As the scarlet energy saturated his dantian, Jun meticulously directed the compressed energy inward, shaping it into the intricate Fibonacci spiral while simultaneously filling every crevice.

Minutes ticked by, each one marked by the accumulation of sweat on Jun's forehead. Yet, despite the physical exertion, a small smirk played on his lips, evidence of his satisfaction with the progress. As the blood-red energy permeated Jun's body, his meridians, previously devoid of color, now glowed with a radiant scarlet hue, their connection to the dantian as bright as the sun itself.

Jun while forming his dantian had injected increasing amounts of the compressed energy into its core. With each infusion, the glow intensified, surpassing the brilliance of the sun itself. Remarkably, there was no accompanying heat, only a radiant, ethereal luminescence.

As mentioned before, with Jun and Yinling utilizing this new energy, they need a source of this which is not possible by just absorbing the surrounding spiritual energy. Now on top of that, this new energy needs to be compressed.

"This might have seemed impossible at first, but who would have thought that simply pouring more of this energy and concentrating it into one point in my dantian would naturally lead to its compression?" Jun mused aloud, marveling at the unexpected simplicity of the process.

Especially since his dantian was a spiral, his energy converged into one point where it could be distributed throughout his body via his meridians at incredible speeds thanks to the explosive power of his energy and dantian.

Opening his eyes slowly, a faint scarlet glow emanated from them, but it quickly faded along with the intense pressure that had threatened to overwhelm anyone within a mile radius.

Exhaling deeply, Jun slowly rose to his feet, his expression a mix of awe and disbelief. "Damn..." he murmured, barely able to comprehend the extent of his newfound power.

With every fiber of his being, he felt the urge to unleash it, to test its limits, but he held himself back, aware of the potential consequences.

Stepping outside the formation, Jun sensed the surrounding spiritual energy quiver in fear as he passed through it, his presence commanding respect and reverence. Yet, paradoxically, he felt more connected to nature than ever before, a strange harmony settling over him despite the overwhelming power coursing through his veins.

Utilizing his high energy control, Jun enacted his Energy Spear technique. Focusing intently, he visualized every intricate detail of the spear, from its length to the razor-sharp tip. In an instant, a scarlet-red spear materialized in his hand, its brilliance so intense it threatened to blind onlookers.

Consciously dimming the spear's radiance, Jun marveled at its formidable presence. "My gosh... it's like a lightsaber on steroids," he mused, rotating the weapon slowly as he pondered its capabilities.
