Chapter 4 - Bonded-Beat-Bind

Before Tim need out and said "what if we can test these shields to smash into the boulder during our labor and since our usual Bone Pickaxe is too slow we can use it as a durability test, Nova nod as he nerd out back "GENIUS Tim yet , do we swing it like a defensive shield or offensive flat pickaxe?"

Tim scratched his head in thought before replying, "Well, it depends on the design and properties of these shields. If they're meant for offense, they might have a more solid and flat surface, suitable for smashing. Defensive shields often have a curved shape to deflect attacks. Let's examine them closely and see if there are any engravings or markings that might indicate their purpose."

The two of them inspected the shields more thoroughly, looking for any clues that would help them determine their intended use. After a few minutes, Nova pointed out some intricate patterns etched into the shields, suggesting that they might have a dual purpose.

"These engravings could indicate that these shields are versatile," Nova suggested. "Maybe they were designed for both offense and defense. Let's try both approaches and see which one works best for smashing the boulder. It'll be a fun experiment!"

With their plan in place, Nova and Tim prepared to test the mysterious shields' effectiveness in breaking the boulder, eager to see what they could discover.

Tim spoke "since you're the one that seems to be at ease of wielding it and I didn't GAIN experience from last time yet this t-time…I-I shall catch up!! I shall just examine how much damage this shield can do to this boulder!!"

Nova nodded in agreement. "Sounds like a plan, Tim. I'll give it a try first, and you can watch how it's done. Then you can take your turn."

With that, Nova approached the boulder, holding the shield firmly in both hands. He took a deep breath and focused his energy. With a powerful swing, he brought the shield crashing down onto the boulder. There was a loud impact, and to their surprise, a significant chunk of the boulder broke off.

"Wow," Nova exclaimed, "these shields are really something. They pack a punch! Your turn, Tim. Give it a shot."

Tim, feeling inspired by Nova's successful attempt, stepped up to the boulder, gripping the other shield. He swung it with determination, and although he didn't manage to break off as large a piece as Nova did, he still made a notable dent in the rock.

"That's great, Tim!" Nova encouraged. "These shields are incredibly useful. Let's keep going and see how much progress we can make. Maybe we'll uncover more about their abilities along the way."

The two friends continued their work, using the mysterious shields to chip away at the boulder, all the while enjoying their newfound discovery and the camaraderie of working together.

Tim felt like this is a miracle meeting a person like Nova as if it's a blessing to his presence he finally felt the days go faster when they test these shields out for the boulder and said "MAYBE nexttime we can be able to crash this boulder together.."

Nova smiled warmly at Tim's suggestion. "Absolutely, Tim. We make a great team, and I'm sure with more practice, we'll be able to accomplish even greater feats together. I'm really glad we met, too. It feels like fate brought us together."

With their shared determination and the newfound strength of the mysterious shields, the days ahead held the promise of exciting adventures and discoveries for Nova and Tim in the land of Coloria.

As Nova (timeskip after their shared labor) he was looking at the ceiling on his bedroom of the temple he is living in and ponders what will happen if Tim Succeed in destroying the Boulder (right that weird delirium I had with that girl full of moonlight…..so she need us to leave the village to do that…for Tim he needs to finish his vow/calling before joining me , spoke with no vow/calling tied to this village)

Nova's thoughts continued to wander, considering the mysteries of the land he had found himself in. As he lay in his temple bedroom, he couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more to his presence in Coloria, something beyond the surface of the strange and magical world. The enigmatic girl in his dream and her cryptic message lingered in his mind.

In the days to come, Nova would embark on a journey of self-discovery, filled with magical adventures, newfound friendships, and the unraveling of secrets that would shape his destiny in Coloria.

Next is back to the perspective [return to the real world] of Cosmos finally in the weekends and at home spoke to her parents after verified there's no issues to the comatose state of her brother's health before she start asking her parents if they believed in magic and mana does exist despite any dimension or reality (the parents look at eachother with a sad smile and confess to admit yes but pls let them take the time to say why that is , it could also explain her abnormal eyes and needed glasses to prevent such issues)

Cosmos listened intently as her parents began to share a long-held family secret. They explained that they did believe in the existence of magic and mana, and that it was a part of their family's heritage. They revealed that Cosmos and her comatose brother, Nova, both possessed a unique gift tied to the world of magic.

Her parents explained that Nova's condition was the innate concealment of magical balance, one that was meant to enhance his innate magical abilities. However, the seal had unexpected consequences and left him in an unaware state, frankly sealed release or cut off once his coma caused his consciousness transported to another world.

As for Cosmos, she had been born with heterochromia and the ability to see and manipulate mana. Her parents had given her special glasses to control her powers, which were too strong for her to handle without them. They had kept her abilities a secret to protect her from the potential dangers associated with being a mana-sensitive individual.

Her parents shared that there were connections between Nova's condition and the magical world, and they believed that uncovering the truth about that world might hold the key to awakening Nova from his coma. They also mentioned that a mysterious figure had contacted Cosmos in her dreams, hinting at a deeper connection between her and the magical realm.

Cosmos was left with a whirlwind of emotions, realizing that her family's history was intertwined with magic and that there was much more to discover about her brother's situation. She resolved to learn more about her own abilities and to find a way to bring Nova back from the mysterious world he was trapped in.

Cosmos's parents continued to reveal the complexities of their children's origins. They explained that both Cosmos and Nova didn't originally belong to the world they were currently in, but rather hailed from a dimension known as Mythlandia. It was a realm where magic and mana were real, and their family had strong ties to that dimension.

Their unique magical traits, including Cosmos's heterochromia and her ability to see and manipulate mana, had been sealed away in order to protect them in this world where magic was largely seen as mere fiction. Cosmos's abilities had been only partially sealed due to the immense power she possessed, and her special glasses were a means to control and suppress her mana-sensitivity.

Furthermore, they revealed that both Cosmos and Nova harbored Ecto-type mana within them, a rare and powerful form of mana. The spell that sealed their magical abilities had been cast with the assistance of a deity from their home dimension, along with the rulers of this modern world. Magic had become a hidden secret in this realm, making it difficult to replenish mana and demonstrate genuine magical prowess.

Cosmos was overwhelmed with the weight of this revelation. Her family's connection to Mythlandia, the existence of Ecto-type mana within her and her brother, and the involvement of deities and rulers in their situation all added to the mystery. She was determined to uncover the truth behind their origins and to find a way to awaken Nova from his comatose state, knowing that their unique magical heritage held the key to their destiny.

And also Cosmos ask "is this why you registered us as mix Asian family? And we're twins? Despite the truth we had one dead sibling? Aldol right? You keep saying he died because someone took him away from us" (while Tao Yusha manifested an ethereal humanoid form in their physical realm to say sorry to interrupt this familial revelation , which by the way that deity that assisted to transport you folks in this modern realm was none other than me (as for rulers , that's just a secret term for my followers blending in as they are mortals and help in secret alchemy for relics or any sort that is why that special glasses was able to be created , plus speaking of the that dead trooper let's just say it was around the time you all used to live in Mythlandia yet since the children are so young they can barely remember) before the mother drowned it's because the deity altered some younger childhood memories as if they lived in the modern world , as the father added they had no choice they need to save themselves and prevent further problems as it was done or rather the transportation here wasn't voluntary it's cause by a mana dome summon , like a rare magical disaster occurring in Mythlandia to cause distortion to time and place (for them the Valor Family , Tao Yusha saved them to another dimension because their family is one of the possible targets ever since it's suspected the Equinox kidnapped the 3rd child of the parents and May target them in the future if he didn't do it [he also altered the memories of anyone in Mythlandia they came in contact with no one can remember them nor can inform Equinox who they were]

Cosmos couldn't contain the flood of questions and emotions that surged within her as her parents revealed more about their family's hidden past. She questioned why they had been registered as a mixed Asian family and why they were considered twins when there had been another sibling named Aldol, who was now referred to as dead.

As she grappled with the truth, an ethereal humanoid form manifested in their physical realm, and it introduced itself as Tao Yusha. This deity admitted to assisting in transporting their family to the modern realm and explained that the rulers mentioned earlier were actually secret followers who helped with alchemy and relic creation. The special glasses Cosmos wore had been created with their assistance.

Regarding Aldol, the parents revealed that the memories of their time in Mythlandia had been altered, making it seem as if they had lived in the modern world. Aldol's disappearance had occurred around the same time, and the parents had been forced to make this difficult decision to protect their family. The transportation to the modern realm had not been voluntary; it had been caused by a mana dome summon, a rare magical disaster in Mythlandia that distorted time and place. The Valor Family had been one of the possible targets due to suspicions that Empress Estella was involved in the kidnapping of the parents' third child.

Tao Yusha's intervention had not only saved them from this threat but had also altered the memories of anyone they had come into contact with, erasing all knowledge of their existence and preventing Estella from discovering who they were. Cosmos was beginning to understand the enormity of their situation and the role magic and mana played in their lives, both in Mythlandia and the modern realm.

Cosmos then realize to Tao Yusha taking a walk around their house "So that's why you wanted me to ask my parents in that dream and reassure me brother is okay yet!!! Why now? Why when Brother is in a coma he is transported to Mythlandia?"

Tao Yusha, the ethereal being, turned to Cosmos and explained, "I chose this moment to reveal the truth because your brother's presence in Mythlandia has triggered certain events. The connections between your two worlds are intertwined, and your brother's coma has acted as a bridge. The stability of both realms is at risk, and understanding your family's past and the nature of your magic is crucial to navigate these challenges."

Cosmos was beginning to see the bigger picture, realizing that their family's history and the nature of their powers were deeply intertwined with the events unfolding in both Mythlandia and the modern realm. She couldn't help but wonder what other revelations were yet to come.
