"Thank you for your hard work today. You've been a great help," Jeremiah said with a smile. Serena returned his smile.
"By the way, are you busy this weekend? I just got some movie tickets from a friend. Unfortunately, he gave me two tickets, and I don't know who to give the other one to. So, if you don't mind, I'd like to give it to you. Consider it a reward for your hard work." Jeremiah took out the movie tickets that he had secretly prepared.
Serena paused for a moment, looking at the ticket in Jeremiah's hand. The movie title seemed interesting. "I don't know… It's not that I don't like watching movies, but I might be a bit busy…"
"How about this: if you agree to go, I'll consider it as overtime work for you. I'll pay you as well. How does that sound?"
"Overtime?" Serena was surprised by Jeremiah's offer.
