Few days passed.
Ethan appeared in the main lounge, looking at a lot of courier boxes on the ground, and a few people appeared wearing a courier staff uniform with boxes in their hands.
"Please transfer these boxes to my room," Ethan requested calmly, looking at them.
The staff glanced at each other and then nodded and replied, "Don't worry, sir, we will transfer them."
Ethan nodded and then let them put all the boxes on the ground in his room.
After a while,
"Sir, all boxes have been delivered inside your room; please sign it."
Staff appeared in front of him, spoke, and then passed an electronic signing device in Ethan's hand.
Ethan nodded and signed with pen, then returned the device.
Along with it, he gave each one of the staff some tips for their hard work.
"Thank you, sir." After thanking gratefully, all of them left happily.
At this moment, a voice sounded from the main room door behind him.
"Little Ethan, what did they deliver?"
The Grandfather Earl appeared outside the main room and asked thoughtfully, looking at the courrier staff walking toward the outside direction through the corridor.
"Some books, a collection of electronic devices from the past few years, including the latest one, I have been sleeping, and I have to catch up with everything happening in the outside world."
Ethan replied calmly, looking at his grandfather thoughtfully.
The Earl's eyes brightened, and then he nodded and spoke.
"Good boy, I see my shadow in you; don't worry, you have Walter bloodline running through your veins; you will catch up and even surpass everyone in this world in no time; just don't stress your mind too much."
After speaking, he patted Ethan's shoulder proudly and then walked toward the outside direction of the villa.
Ethan glanced at his grandfather Earl back. 'As people age, they start losing track; he didn't even ask me how I ordered these things. Anyway, it's better no one notices it.'
He thought and then shook his head and walked inside the room.
After closing the door, he started unboxing the boxes one by one.
After awhile,
Looking at the collection of phones, tablets, and laptops on the table from the past ten years, each model is a pair.
"Let's see how much this synthesis can upgrade the technology."
Ethan muttered thoughtfully, picking up the pair of the oldest Star smartphone model from ten years ago, with a small touch LCD screen and physical buttons below the screen.
Putting them inside both synthesis bars,
Instantly an option appeared in front of him,
Do you want to initiate synthesize? Y/N]
Ethan nodded and selected Y with his gaze; instantly, both bars in the synthesis field combined and became one.
Ethan then clicked the bar, and instantly a smartphone appeared in his hand. A thoughtful look flashed through his eyes.
"A single year technology leap, it synthesized two star S1 models into a single star S2 model. How does this synthesis work's?"
Ethan muttered thoughtfully, looking at the familiar smartphone in his hand.
He then glanced at other smartphone models on the table; he picked a pair of S2 models and then glanced at the synthesis bar, which is still single; there is a duration below.
[Unlimited Synthesis 1.0]
[ ]
[08:34]
"It seems ten minutes is the duration between each synthesis; anyway, it's not that much."
Ethan muttered thoughtfully, then waited for a while until the remaining time returned to zero.
He added two S2 smartphones in the bar and clicked the synthesize, leaving one S2 synthesized model behind.
Instantly the bars merged into one, and a smartphone appeared in Ethan's hand. Seeing a S3 model in his hand, he nodded thoughtfully.
"It's really a single-year technology leap." Ethan muttered thoughtfully, and then a gleam flashed through his eyes.
'What if I synthesize again this time up and down model?' He thought and then waited for ten minutes.
Ethan then inserted the remaining synthesized S2 model with a S4 model in the synthesis bar and clicked the synthesis.
Instantly the bars merged into one; a smartphone appeared in his hand.
A playful smile appeared on Ethan's face, looking at the S5 model in his hand and muttered thoughtfully.
"It's the same result a year after the technology leap despite the difference in model, which means there won't be any regression of technology using this unlimited synthesis."
Ethan then started synthesizing other models one by one.
'Let's see the limit of synthesis 1.0.'
He thought while picking the S10 model and S3.
10+3=11, 11+3=12, 12+3=13, 13+4=14, 14+5=15, 15+5=16, 16+5=17, 17+6=18, 18+6=19, 19+7=20
Just as Ethan wanted to synthesize S20 and S7, a notification appeared in front of him.
[Product limit reached; please upgrade the synthesis level]
'So the maximum limit a technology can be upgraded is ten years ahead; it's more than I thought,'
Ethan thought in surprise and then glanced at the S20 model, which is extremely slim and futuristic.
Reading the features of the smartphone on the box, there is no camera bump on the back or front, and from both sides it looks like a piece of art.
32GB RAM, 1TB storage, Go 7 ready, built-in AI, max nuclear isotope battery (50 years), unbreakable X10 glass frame, Star 20 chipset with 10 million score, 3D 360° expansion view, eye gestures, advanced security face and fingerprint,
"Well, there is no major difference in ten years of technological advancement; it's just faster, tougher, and a few more features, like the application of nuclear batteries and something called 360° view and AI."
Ethan muttered thoughtfully, reading the functions and specs on the box.
He unboxed it and grabbed the smartphone in his hand.
Ethan was surprised by the glass screen, which is rotated around the whole frame as if it's a single piece; the upper side and lower side of the phone have a frame section.
"The technology after ten years really feels premium; the side frame has been removed, and front and back are a single display glass with round bend edges; it feels extremely smooth and premium."
Ethan muttered in amazement, feeling the crystal-like smoothness on its surface and weight. There is no physical button, just a red power sign on the upper right corner.
