Trisha knocked on the door, and Dashiell answered with a smile. He looked refreshed, having just shaved and dressed in a casual shirt that made him look relaxed and put together. The change in his appearance was noticeable, and he seemed more at ease as he greeted her.
Dashiell invited her inside, gesturing for her to take a seat. The room was tidy, with a few personal touches that made it feel more welcoming. As Trisha settled into a chair, Dashiell grabbed a couple of mugs and offered her a coffee.
"How's your day going?" he asked, pouring the coffee and handing her a mug. "I went back home before noon, so I didn't get a chance to check in on you."
Trisha accepted the coffee, taking a moment to enjoy the warmth of the cup. "It's been a bit hectic, but it's getting better. I wanted to check in and see how you're doing today."
