Trisha was busy packing her belongings into a large trunk, carefully folding clothes and tucking away various items. Gwen entered the room, a bright smile on her face.
"Hey, Trisha," Gwen called out, her eyes danced. "I was thinking, before you move out, how about we go out for a grand tour and have lunch downtown?"
Trisha paused, looking up from her packing with a surprised expression. "A grand tour and lunch downtown? That sounds amazing, but I have so much to do..."
Gwen waved her hand dismissively. "Oh, come on! The packing can wait for a few hours. Let's make some memories before you leave. It'll be fun, I promise!"
Trisha glanced down at her shabby dress and slippers. "Shouldn't I get dressed first?"
Gwen waved her hand dismissively. "Nah, no one will see you on my little country road."
"But what about the neighbors?"
"The Blakewells are already out for the day. You're perfectly fine."
