"Hey, you two," Jake Miller said, wiping his hands on a rag. "What can I do for you?"
"Hey Old Jake, we need your help," Trisha said, getting straight to the point.
"Yeah?" Jake said, leaning against the jeep.
"It's about the resort project," Dashiell added.
"I'm not sure how much I can help," Jake said, frowning. "I don't really know much about the business side of things."
"That's okay," Trisha said, smiling reassuringly. "We just need your connections. We need you to talk to the investors."
She glanced at him, hoping her words were striking the right chord. "I mean, you've been here for years, right? You must have built a solid network with the investors. If anyone can help clear this up, it's you."
