Daisy frowned.That was a rather untimely visit from the man. ''Let him in,'' she said.
The butler stepped aside and Lu Xian strode inside the room. Lu Xian stood before her, he gave a small, polite nod, his eyes lingering on Daisy with a knowing look.
"We need to talk,'' he said, his voice smooth.
One hour later.
The door to Daisy's bedroom swung open, and Lu Xian stepped out of the room first. He stopped, turned around and extended his hand inside. Daisy ignored his hand and hooked her hand around his arm instead.
But as she came into view, Ivy's jaw dropped.
''Mommy?" Angel blinked, eyes widening.
Ivy nodded to the little girl, ''Very much mommy.''
