Ryle looked at her with a teasing gaze as he chuckled.
''What?"
''I am just taking you out to the garden for some fresh air. What were you expecting me to do to you that made you all red?"
Daisy instinctively touched her cheeks, ''I am n-not..'' she trailed off, feeling how warm her face was.
His chest rumbled and the sound of his deep laughter entered her ears. Daisy opened her mouth to say something but unable to find words to defend herself, she closed her eyes and buried her face in his chest, feeling his chest vibrate against her face, ''Stop laughing,'' she admonished.
He only laughed harder, grabbing a coat with one hand to drape it over her as he took her out of the mansion.
In an angle, he could not see, Daisy smiled against his chest.
