Ryle paused briefly before he smiled, ''You don't have to go through all that hassle. If you want my number, I can give it to you.''
Daisy ignored his flirtatious smile.
''You should have called me over if you needed help.''
It was only then did Daisy realize that Angel had grown calmer in Ryle's arms, ''How did you do that?" she whispered, surprised.
''Maybe she likes my presence much better. Your daughter surely has an eye out for great things.''
Daisy stared at the man.
Ryle chuckled, ''Probably you were trying very hard to calm her down.''
''Thank you.''
Ryle sighed.
''When are we leaving?"
To her question, he pulled out his phone and opened a page before passing it to her.
As Daisy read through the news, her face grew solemn. The weather had worsened more than yesterday and there were landslides and other hazards too.
