The sound of ice magic slammed into Mariel in rapid succession, making it difficult to resist. Mariel's body began to feel numb from the cold vapor which had the ice all over it. The cold began to cause the body to respond more slowly than before.
"Professor Kiros is even better than Father Deric. This is a top-ranking sorcerer who was known as Principal Hector's Vanguard in the great battles of the past ages." Mariel thought in her mind.
Professor Kiros slowly walked towards Mariel, who was surrounded by cold vapors of ice magic circulating. The area had transformed into an ice magic field, causing Mariel's fire magic to be less effective by more than half.
"Isn't Victor usually better than this? How easy it is to make you unable to fight. Now that you're in a woman's body and your magic power is so weak." Professor Kiros spoke insultingly of Mariel's abilities.
"I told you, I'm not Victor! I'm Mariel. How many times do I have to tell you?" Mariel shouted back because she was beginning to lose patience with Professor Kiros who still believed that she was Victor.
"You dare argue with me? Enough!" Professor Kiros said and finished her by slamming a large amount of ice magic power into the body until Mariel almost had no way to escape.
"Ouch" Mariel could only defend with all her might but began to spit out blood because Professor Kiros Magic is so powerful.
"You are so noob. It's really a waste of my time. Just give up!" Professor Kiros shouted as he slammed a large ice spear into Mariel's body, throwing her body flying far away.
Thump!
The sound of Mariel hitting against the wall of the illusionary realm caused her to not respond on the ground. The Dragon Slayer Sword fell from her hand to the ground.
"Long time no see, A Fire God Dragon." Master Kiros greeted the sword lying on the ground.
"Take it easy. She's not Victor, Kiros!" Magmatrion came out of the sword and shouted angrily at Professor Kiros.
"I'm sorry, I just get a hot-headed. After seeing the Dragon Slayer Sword made me think of the old days when Victor caused me shame. It really can't be helped." Professor Kiros said.
"Victor is still alive. You may not know but you shouldn't use your past story to finish her like this. This girl doesn't know anything, and you act like you are going to kill her." Magmatrion explained with dissatisfaction.
"Come on! Don't complain too much. I'll let her go back to rest and she'll get better." Professor Kiros said.
"I won't forgive you!" A voice said with anger.
Professor Kiros and Magmatrion immediately turned to look at Mariel while feeling a strange shiver down their spines.
"This isn't good." Magmatrion exclaimed in fear. Professor Kiros stared intently at a girl who was slowly standing but was surrounded by a cruel aura.
The scene in front of them was Mariel, who had her head down and didn't make eye contact with others, but her body slowly stood up. Black mist slowly emitted from her mouth until it began to cover her surroundings. Fingernails that are several inches longer and her skin on the arms and legs slowly changed to something like the scales of a serpent which are alternating layers of glossy black. Mariel suddenly raised her head and her blood red eyes stared at Professor Kiros.
Professor Kiros's eyes widened as if he were hypnotized. He couldn't move and his body refused to respond as commanded, sweat poured out and covered his body with trembling.
"Mariel...calm down...we can talk about this." Magmatrion tried to warn her before she fell deeper into the dark side.
"Shut up!" A voice that didn't sound like Mariel shouted and it made Magmatrion to be suddenly silent.
"I don't want to get involved; I'll go." Magmatrion said as he quickly teleported back to the sword.
"Don't leave me, you're crazy god dragon!" Professor Kiros said with disappointment.
"Do you want to take care of me? My dear Professor Kiros." Mariel said with a terrifying smile.
Mariel, in her imperfect illusion form, revealed a smile that grin like a Cheshire Cat. The teeth were arranged beautifully but it looked like two fangs were growing out, causing Professor Kiros to sweat all over his body and his hands trembled with fear.
"That's not true...Illusory Shadow Technique...this is..." Before he could finish speaking, Mariel rushed into the melee with long claws that were about to pierce his right ribcage.
Professor Kiros rushed with all his might and barely managed to release himself free from Mariel's miraculous gaze, but the sharp claws tore his clothes into pieces.
"That was close. Just one more second, I must have been hit squarely in the stomach, even though I had a shield of advanced magic armor to protect me, but it still can't prevent me from these claws." Professor Kiros said.
"Why are you running away? My Dear Professor Kiros. Don't you want to get a wound? Do you want to know a painful of me?" Mariel spoke and stared at her with pleading but cruel eyes.
"This is the end of our fight. That's enough!" Professor Kiros said loudly as he used magic to prepare to shatter his own illusion state. To separate the two sides and return to normal.
Suddenly, darkness appeared, blocking Professor Kiros' use of magic to cancel the illusion state. This made him shocked that he could hardly believe his eyes at what had happened.
"Even blocking my return to normal condition?" Professor Kiros said in fear.
"Oh, where are you going to leave me in such a hurry? Let's have fun together first. My Dear Professor Kiros!" Mariel said as she charged at the opponent with claws that were filled with dark magic power.
Professor Kiros hurriedly used his ultimate ice magic to block it with all his might. Sharp claws smashed against the ice magic shield, almost shattering it into pieces.
After that, they fought in several more moves until they began to run out of Qi energy.
"Just a female student. Why is she having such power?" Professor Kiros said curiously.
"Take it!" Mariel said as she blasted the ultimate dark magic power at him.
"Come on in, little girl!" Professor Kiros said as he cast his ice magic to the utmost and slammed it in as well.
Suddenly, a huge lightning bolt from above in the Illusory state immediately struck to the middle of them.
In front of them was Principal Hector stood on the ground; he looked at them with anger in his eyes.
"Out of my way!" Mariel said and she didn't care at all. If something gets in the way, she's ready to exchange her life as well, but...
Principal Hector hurriedly attacked first by using his own magic wand, he stabbed Mariel's forehead and used a strange kind of magic power to shoot through until she passed out in mid-air and her body slowly decayed from its illusory shadow form back to its normal human form.
Mariel fell to the ground and was instantly unconscious. As for Professor Kiros, he stood trembling in fear. If Principal Hector appeared like this, it indicates the punishment that he will take.
"Kiros, you went too far this time. I order you to be punished for a month!" Principal Hector shouted angrily.
"I apologize, Master Hector. I promise that I won't do it again." Professor Kiros said, kneeling and bowing in repentance.
Hector's magic wand pointed at Mariel's head and cast a spell.
"Erase the memories of this battle. Just remember the time after completing the ice magic training." Professor Hector said as he released a white beam of light from his magic wand towards Mariel's head. After that, Mariel slowly regained consciousness.
"What happened to me?" Mariel asked curiously.
When she woke up, she found that she was back in the classroom again with all friends surrounding her with concern.
"You've been unconscious for a long time. Is something wrong with you?" Beatrix asked curiously.
"I don't know. After passing the test, I don't remember anything." Mariel replied.
"At least you regained consciousness. Now, let's get ready for the next lecture. It's almost time." Bellany said.
Then everyone took their shoulder bags and immediately went to the main meeting building. Professor Kiros was also in Principal Hector's office along with Elizabeth.
"You're already old enough and have experienced. Why are you still acting like a child? I know that you used to have an argument with Victor before, but you shouldn't do something like that." Elizabeth defected to Professor Kiros.
"Sorry about that. Please understand that sometimes the anger really takes over of me." Professor Kiros apologized.
"Men!" Elizabeth said and shook her head angrily.
"Let Bygones be Bygones." Principal Hector said and stopped both sides.
"But I have one doubt. Apophis had never accepted any student before. Plus, he doesn't trust anyone at all. Why did he come to accept this female student as his disciple?" Professor Kiros asked curiously.
"That is something we have to think of it. Hopefully we will find out the reason soon." Said by Principal Hector.
"I never expected that the Illusory Shadow Technique would be this vicious." Professor Kiros said, wondering at the power of it.
Principal Hector suddenly raised his right arm, slid down the arm cover and revealed one large, long scar on the wrist.
"Master Hector. This scar..." Professor Kiros said in shock.
"The wound from the clash with Mariel in her illusionary Shadow form." Principal Hector said in a good mood.
"You pretend to smile happily. Men are strange, they really enjoy fighting." Elizabeth muttered.
Principal Hector looked out the window of his room with many questions arise in his head.
"Apophis, what is your purpose? I really want to know." Principal Hector thought in his mind.
It was night while the students in all 3 grades were doing their homework in the dormitories. The front wall of the school, with the large gate closed and the guards on duty keeping a watch, suddenly appeared a shadowy figure slowly walking out from a large tree without anyone having noticed the movement. This time, it's like this person has powers that are far superior to others.
A smile slowly emerged from this shadowy figure as his eyes stared at the inside of the school as if with some purpose.
"I' m here. The Terios School of Wizard that I received a mission. Lol" A mysterious voice said with a scam that was being prepared for this soon.
