~Hmm, I don't feel any different,~ he thought in disappointment, as the golden cloud around him slowly dispersed.
Once it was all gone, he noticed that the mural he had just used had lost all of its magical aura. It no longer glowed with power and seemed just like any other earthen wall.
"What's this?" he whispered to himself, moving closer to the mural. He could faintly see a trail of blue energy streaming out of one of the runes. Upon closer inspection, he realized that there was a tiny hole inside it.
Curiosity got the better of him, and he tried to peak through the hole, however the moment he looked through it, a loud crack echoed from deep within the wall. An instant later, stress fractures rapidly spread throughout it, and before he could even react, it shattered into hundreds of small pieces.
