For the next few days he didn't visit me anymore. I was all the time on my own. I finally left my room and went out for a stroll. I was walking around the bailey when the first snow started to fall. Snow was always something amazing, I raised my arm to catch the biggest pieces. They immediately melted on my hand. I smiled as I remembered how we used to play with my brother and how we waited for the first snow to appear.
The snow was slowly falling on my face and hair, changing me into a man of the mountain from a fairy tale. I kept grinning like an idiot when I noticed Lorcan standing next to the stables and looking at me. I immediately lowered my head and went back to my room. That man could spoil everything.
He came to me that night. There was nothing we could tell each other so he used my body to have his pleasure. I would have lied if I said I didn't feel good too. He was gentle and paid attention to my back. It needed a little more time till it would be totally fine. He was skillful and he touched me in a way that made my shameless body shiver with pleasure.
I was obedient and followed whatever he wanted but I wasn't enthusiastic. There was this one time when I lost myself for a moment and grabbed his shoulders moaning while I came. I saw his face filled with satisfaction that he was able to force that kind of emotion out of me.
When he finished I went to clean myself, when I came back, he was gone.
Lying in my bed I could still smell his scent. I felt so lonely.
The next day Gelda came with breakfast as usual and informed me about the guests that would arrive today.
"The Lady and the twins will come today, they will stay for the night as usual."
I knew it was cold outside, that woman must have hated the whole trip in the cold. After I finished my breakfast I dressed warmly and went out. I wanted to feel other people's company and who knows maybe the arrival of the Lady.
After a while however it was too cold to enjoy being out so I was slowly heading back when the gate's opened. Two boys on horses rushed in. I was watching them from a distance as I was strolling along the wall. The Lady was left far behind. With the arrival of Tod and Jay this whole place became more lively. My nose was probably red at that moment so I decided to head back. The twins didn't notice me as I was watching them for a moment. They were joking and pushing each other. Just as I used to do with my brother, however I always lost as my brother was excellent in any physical activities. I went back to my room.
I was wondering whether Lorcan wished me to appear during their family dinner. Do I really want to be there with them? A part of me wanted to stay away, the other hoped I would be invited because I'm something more than just a slave.
Well there was no use of dwelling about it, it's not like I had any influence on that matter.
I took out the zither and played, the song was very nostalgic. It reflected my feelings. The tunes filled my room and I felt less lonely when I finished. After that I read a little and walked around my room and finally let my hair loose only to comb it as I had nothing else to do. While I was doing it Gelda came, she placed a plate with food on the table. That's it. I wasn't invited to dinner.
"Thank you Gelda." I smiled and continued my work, then I picked some oil with a nice scent of forest and summer fruits and rubbed a bit. Later I sat down at the table eager to eat everything before it got totally cold.
I hated eating alone, back at home we had meals together. Every day I encountered lot's of people. I sometimes wished I could be left alone back then but now I missed the hustle and bustle of a palace. My life now was a total opposite.
I ate slowly, there was no rush, after eating there was nothing planned in my schedule. I should probably go to sleep. I was almost finished when Galda came back.
"The Lord requests your presence. He wants you sir to play the zither." She informed me and started to pick up the plates and cutlery. Apparently I was done.
"How much time do I have?" I asked putting the empty glass on the tray.
"Little, They are already eating."
"I see. You may go, I will dress up on my own." Gelda hesitated for a moment but then left me alone.
Among all the clothes Lorcan bought me there were three sets that actually suited my taste.
I picked a green suit. The jacket was short again but without any sparkling ornaments. The white shirt with frills matched perfectly as well as a brooch with an emerald and citrines. I left my hair loose, just as they were. Holding my zither in my left hand I entered the dining room.
"Greetings my Lordship." I bowed a bit.
"Nice to see you, Prince Kian." The Lady greeted me politely.
"The pleasure is all mine." I smiled but then I looked at Lorcan. He was watching me with such intensity that I immediately felt uneasy. The twins reacted both differently. One was looking at me and grinning, the other was flushed red. I assumed that Jay was the grinning one, Tod the one with red ears.
"Do you want me to play something for you, my Lady?" It was always polite to ask the lady first.
"Something you like, Prince Kian." She smiled back at me.
I sat on the chair a bit away from the family, flipped my hair to the left and started to play one of the melodies I really liked. It was a classical composition with fast sequences and I really enjoyed playing it. As soon as I finished, Lorcan suddenly said,
"How about the song you played for Gael and Rowan?" He smirked and I knew he wanted to humiliate me with that request in front of his own family.
