The cavern fills with the sounds of chaos as we strive to fend off the relentless swarm of stone creatures. Each hit of Athena's spear or swipe of Thanatos' scythe seems to have no effect, the creatures merely reforming a moment later. Persephone's arrows are useless against these enemies, yet she continues to send them whistling through the air with determined precision.
Hypnos has never been a frontline fighter and in moments like these, it shows. He hangs back, attempting to weave together some sort of sleep spell that might help - but to no avail; the creatures seem unaffected by his magic.
"Any bright ideas?" Apollo snaps sarcastically as another one of his arrows bounces harmlessly off a crystalline creature.
Pinned against a wall of unyielding stone, I rack my brain for some way out of this deadly dance. I was lost on what to do, as my weapons were useless now. But inspiration strikes me just as a creature lunges at me.
