In the dark dormitory room, a blonde teenager stirred on his bed.
He could not sleep at all.
How could he even sleep anyway, when he had been exposed as a dhampir, had accidentally turned a clan heiress into a fellow dhampir - who knows about the system by the way, and now, he had to attend a ball that would probably be filled with extremely high level vampires that would theoretically be able to sense that he wasn't a real vampire.
Not to mention the rogue bloodthirsty dhampir heiress that would also attend the ball, putting his and her life on the line.
Xavian frowned.
"Life is fucked."
Slowly, the dormitory door creaked open as a pair of pink eyes scammed the room.
"Xavian?"
The blonde teenager sat upright.
"Pinkie?"
Pinkie smiled a bit.
"Yeah, I'm back from the infirmary.
Where's Elena and Nein?"
Xavian frowned slightly.
The Nein thing was another problem he would have to face sooner or later.
With a sigh, he stretched.
"Elena is probably at the Drakh castle preparing for the ball, and Nein has been missing for a while.
But the school did not declare him missing, so it would probably be a family thing."
Pinkie tilted her head slightly.
"The ball?..."
Then her confused look turned into one of absolute horror as she continued.
"It's today?!!!, I've really messed up, like really, really messed up!"
Xavian looked confused.
"What's the big deal?, It's just a ball."
Pinkie smiled at his naivety.
"I haven't told anyone, Xavian.
But I'm the heiress of the third clan.
I am Yvonne Cula, hidden heiress of the Cula clan..."
On a normal day, Xavian would have been suprised.
But today, the blonde teenager had simply sighed.

Anais was a secret heiress, Nein was a powerful hidden heir, Elena was the third in line as the leader of the Drakh clan after Max, and now pinkie was also a hidden heiress.
It actually made sense a bit.
Well, not really, but since everyone had some kind of dreadful secret, it made sense for pinkie to have hers.
But the secret clan heiress was not done.
"The Cula clan are a very secretive sect of seers and oracles, but we are very powerful.
The Charm ability is our domain, despite a majority of us, i included, being blind."
Xavian's jaw dropped.
"You're b-blind?"

Nein has ten different streams, Elena has nine, and you have two.

Xavian tensed up.
'Does she know?!'
The blind girl took a shallow breath and continued.
"Anyway, all the heirs are required to come with a partner.
Would you be my partner, please Xavian?"
The blonde teenager was conflicted.
He had never spoken this much with Pinki...Yvonne before.
With a stifled curse at himself, Xavian sighed.
"Yeah, why not."
