"I'm sorry..."

"What's wrong Ken?" Olivia asked, surprised at the way he suddenly drew back from her.

He had his eyes on the floor, deliberately not wanting to look her in the eye.

"I'm sorry..." he said again.

The tone the voice carried made Olivia's heart skip a beat.

"W-why are you sorry?" She asked, her heart pounding in fear.

He said nothing, just blankly staring into space.

"Say something Ken..."

"Just LEAVE!" He cut her short.

Olivia tried not to believe her ears. "You don't mean it, do you?" She asked, walking closer to him.

"I can't do this anymore Olivia," He said with a shrug.

"What do you mean Kenan?" She asked. "I-I don't get you," she said.

Kenan turned to the direction of the window, his back facing her. "GO AWAY!"

"Did I do anything wrong? I'm sorry if I did, I just can't understand you, explain to me Ken. Do you..."

"I DON'T WANNA DO THIS ANYMORE!" He retorted.

Olivia felt frightened by the tone of his voice. She didn't want to understand his words, she was scared of what he was going to say next. "What? What don't you wanna do?" She asked pretending not to understand.

"Us..Liv, how can I put this?...I just wanna end things between us," he said.

Olivia froze. For a moment, the world seemed to stop. She wasn't sure she heard him right, it was not her Kenan speaking. She walked to him and made him face her.

"Kenan, look into my eyes and tell me you don't mean it," she said.

He turned to her and drew in a deep breath.

"Liv, I know this might be hard on you, but, I've thought this through and have made up my mind. I'm rich now, even famous, our status no longer match each other and it can no longer work between us. You'd only taint my reputation and I worked so hard for it, I don't want anything to ruin it. I know you might say you helped me a lot and I'm really grateful for it, but, we just don't fit together anymore," he said and returned to his desk.

Olivia's heart skipped. She stood there, and for a moment, she felt lifeless. She tried so hard to hold back the tears, but couldn't and tears began trickling down her cheeks. If he was ending things between them without caring about what she had done for him, if he was ending things, then how could she tell him she was pregnant?

When she finally recovered from the shock, she mustered all her courage and walked to him.

"Kenan...what if there's a reason we can't break up?" She asked.

"There can't be one," He said nonchalantly and continued typing on the keyboard.

"But Kenan, I...I'm pregnant," she said.

Kenan's fingers paused and he raised his head up to look at her.

"You said?"

"I'm carrying your child Kenan."

"It can't be, I'm not the father," he said.

Olivia was surprised, how could he deny it?

"Kenan, I know you might not love me anymore, but you can't deny this child, it would only make you irresponsible, how...?"

"ENOUGH! I never touched you that night," he cut in coldly.

"Kenan, you..."

"You were drunk that night, I was planning to stay, but I left after a call and didn't come back."

"But you told me..."

"I lied. It was so you wouldn't think much, but since you're pregnant, I can't accept a child that isn't mine," he said.

Olivia ran out of words. Too many shocks in one day. She gripped her chest and looked up, blinking back the tears that were threatening to fall.

"Olivia, it's over between us. I've already made up my mind. If I were you, I'd go look for the father of the child," he said.

"I think it'd be best if you leave now, I'm expecting a guest soon," he added. His voice turned icy cold and he didn't bother to look at her.

Olivia turned slowly, her eyes stung with tears, but she didn't want to cry infront of him again. She walked towards the door, taking in all that had happened. She was almost at the door when Kenan's secretary entered along with a lady.

"Sir, you have a guest," The secretary said and the lady appeared from behind.

She was elegantly dressed and everything about her spoke riches, it was also someone Olivia knew well.

Kenan stood up, beaming with smiles immediately he saw her. He left his desk and walked to meet her.

"You are here, I've been waiting," he said and gave her a hug.

"I'm sorry, didn't mean to keep you waiting," she said.

Olivia felt her heart completely shattered. It was all over. She planned to just leave silently until Kenan stopped her.

"Since you are still here Liv and you both know each other, there's no need for formal introduction," Kenan said. "Liv, meet my girlfriend," he added and wrapped an arm around Amy's shoulder, drawing her closer to him.

"Hi Olivia," Amelia said with a smile.

Olivia eyes reddened, but she said nothing. She looked at the couple one more time and walked out of the office...and out of Kenan's life....
