Osial activated his divine power once again, creating a massive whirlpool on the surface of the sea in an attempt to drag the Jade Chamber down and destroy it.
However, Osial had only recently broken free from his seal, and half of his body was still trapped within it. His divine power was nowhere near its peak—he was significantly weaker than his full strength. Moreover, he had sustained a critical injury after being struck in his weak spot.
Overall, Osial found it increasingly difficult to break through the Jade Chamber's defenses under their combined efforts.
Seeing that the timing was right and to prevent further interference from Osial, Ganyu unleashed her elemental burst—Celestial Shower!

The adepti quickly cast spells to whisk everyone away, ensuring they wouldn't be caught in the massive explosion.
Just as Nolan and the others escaped at incredible speed, a deafening explosion erupted behind them. The sea surged violently in its wake.

As the shockwaves from the explosion scattered the dark clouds above, a beam of sunlight pierced through.
At the same time, Nolan's character panel notified him of the Vortex God's defeat.
"Osial is gone! Did we actually do it?" Paimon exclaimed, looking at where the god once was.
After a while, the winds and waves calmed, and the Jade Chamber had been obliterated in the explosion, vanishing along with Osial.
"The ominous and malevolent aura of the Vortex God has indeed begun to fade," confirmed Moon Carver.
"The effects of the Sigil of Permission have dissipated, and Osial has been critically wounded and sealed away once more. It is impossible for him to wreak havoc again!" Moon Carver continued after a brief pause.
"Sealed again? I thought we killed him," Paimon said in surprise.
"Hmph, killing a god is not so easy," Cloud Retainer replied, her wings flapping as she glanced at Paimon.
"Besides, killing him would only bring more trouble. The remains of a god would spawn countless demons and curses. Liyue would never know peace!" she added with a scoff.
Nolan nodded thoughtfully—this aligned with the original story, where Osial was resealed rather than killed.
"Oh, I see! No wonder the Geo Archon used a sealing method to imprison him," Paimon said, scratching her head, looking both enlightened and confused.
Suddenly recalling something from earlier, she said, "Speaking of the Geo Archon, that Fatui Harbinger released Osial because they couldn't find something called a 'Gnosis' in the Archon's body, right? They wanted to force him to reveal himself.
"Now that we've dealt with the Vortex God, what's going on with the Geo Archon?"
